Aharen-san Season 2 Announced!

This announcement made my day. I am debating whether or not I want to cover the MHA ending here or not. Because I usually avoid talking about stuff I don’t like. But while I ponder on that further, here is just some simple and good news. Aharen-san was really entertaining and it took over anime memes for a while when it came out and now, Season 2 has been announced. And oh boy, I am excited about it. It is always nice having certain anime where I just put my head aside and go with the flow.

So welcome back to another news article. And today we are talking about Aharen-san Season 2. There isn’t much news to cover just yet as this is just the initial announcement. But man, I just wanted to talk about this anime. So here we are and let’s get started!

What do we know about Aharen-san Season 2?

The official website of the anime announced the second season earlier today. They gave us a lot actually. We know that Inori Minase and Takuma Terashima will reprise their roles as Aharen and Raidou. Tomoe Makino will be returning to direct the anime Felix Film. Other major staff like Yasuka Yamamoto, Takao Yoshioka, and Yuuko Yahiro will also be returning. Meanwhile, we are getting Masanao Akahashi as the new scriptwriter along with the old ones. As well as a few new editions to the main animation staff as well.

We didn’t get a release window or anything like that. But this much info is already more than the usual amount for an initial announcement lol. We also got a teaser PV, you can check that out right here. And yeah, that covers all the news for now.

So let’s move on to

My Thoughts

This is pretty much exactly what I like to see in a sequel announcement, especially when the first season was good.

Some new additions to the staff but most of the old staff is returning, we are getting the same studio and the brilliant duo of Inori Minase and Takuma Terashima are also returning to voice our main characters. I couldn’t ask for more. I forgot that Aharen was voiced by Inori Minase lol. She usually voices characters that are a lot more expressive. Furina from Genshin, for example one of her best roles, in my opinion. But she’s an incredibly talented VA.

But yeah, I expect this anime to show up sometime early next year and I look forward to it. I know that it is going to be a blast just like Season 1 was. Can’t wait to see some more absurdity between Raidou and Aharen. You just know they are gonna do something wild again and I am here for it.
