Man, I cannot describe how long I have been waiting for an update on Blech: Thousand Year Blood War Part 4. If you are not a Bleach fan, you won’t understand just how big of a deal this upcoming final stretch of the arc is for us. The manga had completely gone off the rails and lost the plot by this point because of Kubo’s declining health. The anime adaptation for Part 3 alone made so many improvements to the manga, and that was only about 50% original content. Part 4 will be around 90% new content because there’s nothing else left to adapt in the manga at this point!

So yes, Part 4 of TYBW is a HUGE deal for us, and it’s a chance at redemption not many mangas get. That is why I will hang on to every Part 4 update like my life depends on it. So yeah, welcome back to another news article, and today we are talking about Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 4. Fair warning, there isn’t much to cover lol, I just wanted to talk about Bleach.

Updates on Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 4

As you might have guessed, this news also comes to us from the Anime Expo 2025. There was a panel for Bleach at the expo as well, of course. And the panel revealed that TYBW Part 4 will premiere sometime in 2026. They didn’t lock in a particular release window, but I am inclined to believe that it will be some time in early 2026, given the Fall 2024 premiere of Part 3. They usually take a year off between parts. Well, either way, I will keep you updated.

Part 4 of the TYBW arc is called “The Calamity,” and rightfully so, I guess. We also got a cool new teaser visual for Part 4, and well, like the animated teaser earlier, it is teasing the Horn of Salvation form and the new Bankai. I cannot wait to see HoS in the anime.

My Thoughts

With the amount of original content Part 4 is going to have, I completely understand why they are taking their time with it. And you know, what? I am COMPLETELY fine with it. To the anime team and Kubo, take as long as you need because I KNOW you are going to deliver a Michelin-star meal. There are only like 5 chapters of the manga left to cover, which is barely enough for 2 episodes. That means we will get at least 11-12 episodes worth of original content.

If you have watched Part 3, you know how high-quality all of the anime original content has been. And Part 3 only had around 5 or 6 episodes worth of original content. I cannot emphasize just how excited I am for Bleach TYBW Part 4. I feel like a little kid again. Especially since this will be the last bit of Bleach content we are likely to get for a while.
