Bleach TYBW Part 2 Confirmed!

Of course, this was confirmed. According to rumors, the whole arc is slated for 50-something episodes. So, I am not surprised at all to see 2nd part confirmed. I believe there will be 2 more parts after Bleach TYBW Part 2. Still, though, I am happy to see official confirmation of part 2. Rumors are just rumors after all. Can’t beat the official news.

So welcome back to another news article! Today we are talking about Bleach TYBW Part 2! You know, as I said, rumors/leaks around the whole broadcast of the arc are plenty and so far, one particular rumor is looking really promising. But, I don’t want to talk about rumors/leaks here. So let’s get into the official news. They actually revealed more than you’d expect so let’s start right away.

What do we know about Bleach TYBW Part 2?

So today (27th December) the 13th and final episode of this cour aired. And the episode confirmed that the 2nd cour is in the works. We also got an announcement promo and a teaser visual. You can check out the announcement promo here. Bleach TYBW Part 2 will air in the summer of 2023, i.e. from July 2023. The 2nd cour is titled “Ketsubetsu-tan” or “The Separation”. My Thoughts

I am really excited about Bleach TYBW Part 2. I love the fact that they really went in on the “The Blade is Me” theme for the teaser visual. That sentence right there is really important. I don’t think the anime did this but in the manga, every time Ichigo went into his inner world, the chapter was named “The Blade & Me X”; X being the number of times he had been there. But in this chapter, Ichigo realizes the true nature of his power and hence it becomes “The Blade is me”. Really cool symbolism.

What do I expect from the new part? Well, I am sure it will be a blast to watch just like this part. The arc does not fall off in the upcoming parts either. My main complaint with this arc is the ending. I really hope they fix the damn ending in the anime but, that is probably wishing for too much. Anyway, I hope Sawano comes back to deliver a banger opening theme again. Regardless though, I am pretty positive that the opening and ending themes will be awesome once again. Bleach always has had good opening/ending themes.

Bleach has been doing well on MAL lately so some people have been butt hurt saying that the ratings are “bloated” because of nostalgia and the anime is actually mid. You know what? Cry all you want but, this season on its own was really really good. Maybe the arc as a whole is bad but, this season was awesome.
