Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 1 Was CRAZY!

Article at a glance:

• Bleach TYBW Part 3 has finally arrived, and Episode 1 proves the wait was worth it.
• Despite a lengthy recap, the anime-original content and breathtaking animation steal the show.
• Uryu and the Zero Division get their chance to shine in a way that surpasses the manga.

And here we go. I had been waiting for this episode for so damn long. There were so many rumors that Parts 3 and 4 of the TYBW arc anime would have more original content than Parts 1 and 2 did. And considering the quality of the anime original content we had gotten, that only further served to hype up Part 3 for me. Well, we are finally here, Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 1 just dropped and it was insane. This episode alone was enough to prove that Part 3 is going to be worth every minute of wait.

So yeah, welcome back to another one of my first impression articles. And as you can tell, I am very excited to talk about Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 1. Of course, there will be spoilers ahead. It is the first episode of Part 3 so I will also be talking about the Part 2 ending, of course. So let’s get started.

What did I think of Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 1?

One thing that did annoy me about this episode was the fact that almost half of it was a recap of the final episode of Part 2. The only reason I didn’t mind it much was because those recap scenes directly led into the new content. And I don’t mind seeing Ichibei vs. Yhwach or the Squad Zero Bankai again. Cause those scenes were awesome. Since the whole ending of Part 2 was anime-original content, most of this episode was also anime-original content.

Uryu did next to nothing outside of the ending in the manga version of TYBW. But here in the anime, he is already getting a chance to show off his new strength. We already got to see his Schrift in action too which is really cool. Speaking of Schrifts, Yhwach showed us all just how busted his power is. Ichibei pulled out some new moves but none of it worked once Yhwach regained his eyes. Also, a reference to his Schtift, A – The Almighty the “A” in the Bleach logo was left lingering after the ending theme played lol.

So yeah, the Zero Division vs. The Quincy Royal Guard fight was done so much better in the anime compared to the manga, Zero Division no longer looks like a bunch of weaklings and this also allowed for better usage of Uryu. The animations look phenomenal once again. There was this scene of Yhwach making stairs from Reishi and it looked stunning. Bleach has always had great soundtracks and that is still true. Both the opening and ending themes are awesome. The opening theme also hit 1 million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours which is always good to see.

That is all for now!

So yeah, Bleach, my favorite shounen is back in full force with TYBW Part 3 Episode 1. I wish the recap part in this episode was shorter but the episode still managed to utterly blow me away despite that downside. It was incredible. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!
