Call of the Night Season 2 Announced!

Key points for Call of the Night Season 2:

  • Call of the Night has officially been renewed for a second season, as announced during the Fuji TV Anime Lineup Presentation.
  • Tomoyuki Itamura will continue as director for Season 2, with the official website unveiling a teaser visual for fans to get excited about.
  • With Itamura and likely the main cast returning, expectations are high for Season 2’s release, which could potentially arrive later this year or early next year, promising to maintain the stylish appeal that fans have come to love.

There are plenty of romance anime out there and there are plenty of vampire animes as well. Quite a few anime do both of these things together but only a few ever get close to Call of the Night, in my opinion. This anime has such a strong sense of style and the vibes of this show are down perfect. Everything from the soundtrack to the visuals adds so much to the feel of this anime it is truly commendable. And now, Call of the Night Season 2 has been confirmed and I couldn’t be happier. I knew it would get a season 2 some time but it is good to have a confirmation.

So welcome back to another news article. Unlike last week, I am so happy that we are starting this week off with good news. Toriyama, we will always miss you. But today we are here to talk about Call of the Night Season 2. So let’s get right into it.

What do we know about Call of the Night Season 2?

We have a whole bunch of news to cover thanks to the Fuji TV Anime Lineup Presentation that was held recently. I will cover every important announcement one by one. And this was one of them. We got confirmation that season 2 is under production and Tomoyuki Itamura will be returning to direct season 2 as well. Previously, Itamura worked on The Case Study of Vanitas, which explains why this anime’s style appeals to me so much.

After that, the official website of the anime adaptation also revealed a teaser visual for Season 2. That is all we got for now but I do expect to hear more soon. This covers all the news we have available right now so let’s move on to

What do I think?

Well, since Itamura is returning to direct season 2 as well, I don’t think it is a stretch to think that Liden Films will be returning to animate season 2 as well. Again, all the main cast from Season 1 should also be returning for this season. I’d like to think that Season 2 will come out later this year but for all we know, it could be early next year as well. This is just the initial announcement for the season after all. Either way, I am very excited about this anime and I cannot wait for it to come out.

That is all for now!

Let me know what you guys think in the comments. I will take my leave here, as I said, I really look forward to this anime and I know it will be good. With that said, see ya!
