Chainsaw Man Trailer Revealed!!

Chainsaw Man Trailer Revealed!!

Ah… Mappa’s at it again. It feels they are literally everywhere these days. Over the last year, they have really grown in popularity thanks to 2 really big projects: Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan. And their reputation has grown so much that I don’t even need to tell how well they executed these anime.

They recently had their 10th anniversary and they announced quite a few really cool things over there. These include a new original movie which I did an article on, a teaser visual for the AoT Final Season, and then this.

Man, I am excited for Chainsaw Man. If you wanna know what’s the manga like, it’d be best described as near Evangelion level of mental trauma with a lot of gore.  Denji reminds me of Shinji in a lot of aspects. For instance, they both share to live a normal life yet end up on the most abnormal spot. Let’s move on to the main topic now

What do we know about anime?

Yeah honestly, we know next to nothing about Chainsaw Man anime yet. We just got this teaser trailer a few days ago and all of us who have read the manga went crazy over it. Mappa did announce the staff members along with the trailer though.

As for the plot, Chainsaw Man is about Denji who kills devils for money to settle his debts to the Yakuza. Denji just wants to live a simple life yet, when he outlives his usefulness the yakuza kills him. His pet devil merges with his body and grants him the power of the Chainsaw Devil. He becomes an official devil hinter with the Public Security Bureau later to achieve his simple dreams.

You can check out the trailer right here and goes without saying, it looks really awesome.  Moving on to

Fair warning if they adopt anime from the manga as is, there is a lot of blood, gore, and gross scenes in it. If you can’t take these, do not watch them. Although, you would be missing out a lot if you skip this anime.

Behind all the gore and gross scenes, Chainsaw Man really teaches us the importance of a normal life. We don’t understand the importance of normal life. Even if I put that aside, Chainsaw Man displays the insecurities and fears of the characters really well in a very similar way to Evangelion.

I hope they cover the entire Part 1 of manga in this season. I have no idea how they allowed part 1 to be published in Jump but they moved it to Jump+ for part 2. Chainsaw Man is going to be awesome for sure.

Well, that is all I have for now. Let me know your thoughts down in the comments. I know the article is a bit late so please forgive me. The anime should show up around this year’s fall most probably. One thing is for certain, it will come either before or with AoT’s final season.

As always stay tuned for more content and do not forget to check our awesome art section. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!!
