Date A Live Season 5 Announced!

Key takeaways from Date A Live Season 5 news:
- Date A Live Season 5 has been announced and all staff and cast members from the previous seasons will be returning for it. A teaser PV and visual have been released, but there is no release window yet.
- The new season will likely cover Volumes 17-19, which includes Kurumi Ragnarok and both of Mio’s arcs. The anime will delve deeper into the series’ lore and time-bending themes.
So Date A Live Season 4, I think was a pretty big surprise to everyone. We thought the same old story pattern would continue and kind of knew what was coming. But, Season 4’s plot was completely different from what anyone expected. What if I told you the series kind of gets better from this point on though? Yeah, Date A Live Season 5 has been announced and I am excited as hell.
So welcome back to another one of our news articles. This week we are talking about Date A Live Season 5. After the success of Season 4, of course, this anime is coming back. Would be weird if they didn’t continue it. Anyhow, we have a fair bit of info on this season now, so let’s take a look at that first. My ramblings can wait.
What do we know about Date A Live Season 5?
Date A Live anime recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special live stream. It was a pretty cool live stream, we even got special messages from the staff and cast members of the series. But, that is beside the point. The live stream also gave us a teaser PV and a teaser visual for the fifth season.
We also have confirmation that all the staff and cast members from the previous seasons will be making a return to this one. Meaning, this season will also be made by Geek Toys studios. No release window or anything like that yet, but expect to see it soon. You can check out the new PV here. I think it looks amazing and I hope they keep up this quality. So now, let’s move on to.
What do I think?
You thought season 4 went deep into lore? Well, get ready for season 5 then. We will be exploring even deeper lore this around. More time-bending stuff to come. So last season ended on Volume 16, Kurumi Refrain, my personal favorite sub-arc of the series. Season 5 will likely cover Volumes 17, 18, and 19. So Kurumi Ragnarok and both of Mio’s arcs. Those are some pretty good arcs and I am definitely excited to see them.
A lot of weird shit goes down in Mio’s arcs so I am curious to see how they decide to animate it. Kind of sad that we won’t get to see Tohka World in this season but you know, the Tohka World arc (volumes 20-22) is something that deserves a whole season of its own. Curious to see how the community takes to Tohka World, whenever it comes out. But yeah, all in all, I am excited about this season. More Kurumi screentime, sign me up.

Conclusion
That is all for now. Let me know what you guys think in the comments. Date A Live is definitely a series that gets better as you keep watching. So I recommend you stick to it if you just got started or something. With that said, though, I will take my leave here. See ya!
