Ok, this actually wasn’t on my list of news to cover this week. I was about to do my Manga Recommendation article for the week but Aniplex recently dropped a bunch of info for Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc. And of course, I can always do the manga recommendation later, it is better to keep the news fresh so here I am covering this instead. We already know that the Hashira Training arc will be coming in the Spring 2024 season but we did get a bit of new info from this Aniplex program as well.
So welcome back to another news article. Today we are, of course, talking about Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc. It is pretty late over here and I got an exam tomorrow. So let’s get right into it LOL.
What do we know about Demon Slayer: Hashira training Arc?
Well, we didn’t get a locked-in release date for the season or anything like that yet but we got confirmation that this season will open with another one-hour special episode. As mentioned earlier, the anime is scheduled for a Spring 2024 release date so it should come out sometime in early April next year. This isn’t really that surprising, all of the past seasons have opened with one-hour episodes so it is nothing new.
What is new though is that the “World Tour” for the anime will be back. In this tour, a select few cities will get a special screening of the last episode of the Swordsmith Village arc and the first episode of the Hashira Training arc in the theatres. They did it the last time too but I think a lot of people misunderstood it for a full-on movie and got disappointed because of it. Hopefully, this time that misunderstanding is cleared up. The dates and cities for the World Tour are as follows:
- Tokyo: February 2-3
- New York: February 10
- Seoul: February 11
- Mexico City and Singapore: February 17
- Jakarta: February 18
- Paris and Taipei: February 24
- London and Hong Kong: February 25
The World Tour announcement also came with a new PV which you can check out right here.
Man, I wish that the tour was in my country too because getting the chance to watch something like Demon Slayer in the theatre is just something else. No, I am not exaggerating, you will understand what I mean if you watched the Infinite Train arc movie in the theatre. The feeling of grandiosity in Demon Slayer fights is just perfect for a theatre-watching experience. Either way, Hashira training is the 2nd to last arc of the Demon Slayer series and you know that it is going to be pretty hype.
That is all for now!
Let me know what you guys think in the comments. I have one more article to work on so I will quickly take my leave here. See ya!!
