Ah yes, Go Go Loser Ranger, a show that hooked me in with its initial episodes only to turn me away because of how rushed the rest of the episodes were. Seriously, the plot of this show is interesting, the animations and the music for Season 1 were really good too. And yet, it was so rushed that the second half of Season 1 felt like a completely different show. Well, Go Go Loser Ranger Season 2 is coming out rather soon and I am very interested in seeing how that handles things.
So welcome back to another news article, today we are talking about Go Go Loser Ranger Season 2. We actually got quite a bit of new info on it recently so let’s talk about it.
What do we know about Go Go Loser Ranger Season 2?
Season 2 was officially announced almost as soon as Season 1 concluded in June 2024. Well, we finally have the exact release date for Season 2. Season 2 will premiere on Sundays starting April 13th, 2025. The official Twitter account of the anime also revealed a teaser visual for Season 2 as well. Keiichi Sato will be returning to direct the anime at Yostar Pictures again, Along with him, most of the major staff members will be reprising their roles at Yostar Pictures, And of course, all the main cast members from Season 1 will also be making a return.
That covers all the news for now, so let’s move on to
My Thoughts
I said that a lot is riding on Season 2 earlier because the reason they rushed the plot of Season 1 so much is because there is a big plot reveal in the manga around Volume 4, I believe. The story is quite dark as is but the plot reveal in question makes it even more interesting. So from my understanding, the anime is rushing to get to that plot reveal as soon as possible. Doesn’t really make sense unless they couldn’t have managed to fit that event into Season 2 without rushing the ending of Season 1.
And even putting the important MacGuffin aside, towards the end, Season 1 was kinda bad. It left us with too many questions. Important plot points didn’t get the time they deserved either. So Season 2 has a lot of heavy lifting to do to be good again. Man, I really wish we keep the slower pace of Season 1’s first half throughout Season 2. Aside from that, Season 1 had pretty good production so I have no complaints on that side.
That is all for now
But yeah, that covers everything we know about Go Go Loser Ranger Season 2 so far. I find it odd that we don’t have a trailer yet but well, we should see it in the coming weeks, I guess. With that said though, I will take my leave here. See ya!
