Hell’s Paradise Season 2 Episode 7 Was INSANE

Article at a glance:

  • Season 2 is not slowing down at all. The world-building has gone crazy, the island’s mysteries are finally unfolding, and the Elixir of Life lore is getting deeper with every episode.
  • The fights are hitting harder than ever. Creative Tao usage, brutal choreography, and cliffhangers that refuse to let us breathe.
  • Characters we barely cared about are suddenly stealing the show. The Aza brothers went from “cool side characters” to absolute MENACES in a single episode.

Man, Hell’s Paradise Season 2 has been going crazy these past few episodes. We have gotten so much interesting world-building these past few episodes, everything from the origins of the island to what the elixir of life entails. We have had consistently good character writing, and every single one of the Tensens feels scary in their own right. I was going to write this article after Episode 6 as a proper mid-season review for Hell’s Paradise Season 2, but it ended on a cliffhanger, and now Episode 7 ended on a damn cliffhanger too lol.

Either way, welcome back to another mid-season review. Today, we are talking about Hell’s Paradise Season 2 Episode 7! There will be spoilers ahead, of course. So proceed only if you have watched the episode or don’t care about spoilers. Let’s get started.\

My Thoughts on Hell’s Paradise season 2, so far

Let’s talk about Episode 6 briefly before Episode 7. Gabimaru and Yuzuriha vs. Ran was so damn well done. Gabimaru, with his unique understanding of Tao, was barely able to keep up with Ran despite having a much lower amount of Tao than Ran. He cornered Ran into lowering his Tao to keep up, and Yuzuriha took that opening to deliver the “finishing blow.” Of course, the things didn’t end there. But the whole fight was really well animated; it was hard-hitting, gritty, and bloody. I really like how Tao is being used in so many different and creative ways.

Coming to episode 7 now, I didn’t much care for Chobei and Toma before, but Episode 7 really made them into some of my favorite characters in Hell’s Paradise. The Aza siblings really used anything and everything to get stronger and reunite. Both of them, beheading Tao Fa and Ju Fa at once, came out of nowhere, and it was one of the coolest moments of Season 2 so far. Really interested in seeing where their story goes after their fight with Ju Fa concludes.

Run, guys, I will hold her off, trust me.

Speaking of Tao Fa, I wonder how many new simps were born for her with Episode 7 lol. Tamiya surely was one of them. Me too, but that’s a topic for another day. Pink-haired anime girls are either the brightest people you’ll ever see, or they’re going to be straight up cracked, no in between. I will let YOU guess where Tao Fa lands. And once again, her fight with Tamiya and Fuchi has been pretty interesting. The whole chaos has broken loose these past few episodes, and I really cannot wait to see how all this builds up to the season finale.

That is all for now

But yeah, let me know what you guys think in the comments. Hell’s Paradise Season 2 has been must-watch TV for the last few weeks, with the plot making massive progress and the fights getting more and more intense. Solid 9.5/10 right now. But I will take my leave here. See ya!
