Article at a glance:

  • Hell’s Paradise Season 2 is officially set for January 2026, with MAPPA and the main staff making their return.
  • A brand-new trailer just dropped, along with some fresh cast additions joining the lineup.
  • Fans can expect more updates soon, but for now we’ve got plenty to be excited about.

I almost forgot that Hell’s Paradise was coming out in Winter 2026. Crazy to think that 2026 is just 12 weeks away now. We are already in October. Where the hell did the rest of the year go so fast? And I have no idea what I’ll do with the Fall 2025 season either lol. There is going to be such an insane lack of content in this season. But that’s neither here nor there. Hell’s Paradise got some new updates, and that’s what we are here to talk about.

So welcome back to another news article. Today, we are taking a look at Hell’s Paradise Season 2 and all the new updates that were released. There’s quite a bit of news to cover, so let’s get started.

About Hell’s Paradise Season 2

So first and foremost, Season 2 is scheduled for a January 2026 release. Most of the major staff members from Seaosn 1 are returning, including the director, Kaori Makita. Of course, Season 2 will also be made by Mappa. Of course, all the cast members from Season 1 will be returning as well. We have some new cast members as well. Here’s a list:

  • Shugen Yamada Asaemon: Ryouta Suzuki
  • Jikka Yamada Asaemon: Kouji Yusa
  • Kiyomaru Yamada Asaemon: Maaya Uchida
  • Isuzu Yamada Asaemon: Sayaka Ohara

We got a fresh new trailer to look at as well. You can watch that here. That covers all the recent news updates for now. We’ll get a few more trailers as per usual, but the only thing we’re missing now is a locked-in release date and episode count. But yeah, I will keep you posted as those updates drop.

So let’s move on to

My Thoughts

Goes without saying, I am really excited about Season 2. I have read the manga, but that makes me even more excited, if anything. There are certain things that I just cannot wait to see in animation. And of course, if you have watched the ending of Season 1, you just KNOW that the story is about to get a hell of a lot more interesting. Hell’s Paradise has some of the best use of unreliable narrators I’ve ever seen, and Season 1 was literally just a taste of what’s to come.

I don’t want to get into spoilers here, but I think I will do an article on the use of unreliable narrators in the near future. Because a lot of awesome animes use unreliable narrators to get their stories across, and it is always such an interesting tactic because it adds more intrigue to the plot. But that’s enough rambling for now.

That’s all for now

But yeah, let me know what you guys think in the comments. I am very excited about Hell’s Paradise Season 2; it should be a good watch. With that said, though, I will take my leave here. See ya!
