I Didn’t Know Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Episode 13 Existed

Key points for Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Episode 13 discussion:

  • While not as climactic as the previous episode, Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Episode 13 lays the groundwork for significant developments in Year 2, introducing key elements like Ayanokoji and Horikita’s bet and a new White Room student.
  • Horikita undergoes noticeable development, hinting at a shift in her character dynamics, while Ayanokoji’s confident demeanor and actions reveal his depth and motivations, particularly in his interactions with Karuizawa.
  • The episode’s narrative direction strongly suggests a continuation into Year 2, with its emphasis on setting up future story arcs and character growth, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what lies ahead for the series.

Yeah, yeah, go on call me stupid. Laugh at me if you wish. My stupid brain completely forgot that Classroom of the Elite Season 3 was running a 13-episode cour. I assumed that episode 12 was the last and to its credit, it still felt like a season finale. It was a great episode. So imagine how off-guard I was when I saw Muse Asia’s upload on YouTube for the 13th episode. I still can’t believe it myself, quite embarrassing really. I was about to miss a whole finale episode this week lol.

So why am I making this article? Well, because I want to talk about Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Episode 13, of course. This was a very interesting episode and if the anime does continue, which I think it will this episode will pretty much dictate the future events to come. So let’s get started right away.

What do I think of Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Episode 13?

I’ll start with some minor criticism of the episode. As much as I loved the episode, I still think that episode 12 was a better “final” episode. Sure this episode set a lot of future events and plot lines, but episode 12 felt more climactic, if that makes sense. And because of that, I enjoyed episode 12 a little more even though episode 13 was really plot-heavy and gave us a lot of things to talk about.

I have not read the Year 2 volumes of the LN at all. So I have truly no idea what to expect from the upcoming seasons but even I can tell that this episode set up all the major upcoming plot threads in year 2. Or at least for the first section of Year 2’s story. I also like how we immediately get a glimpse of how different Horikita is as a character after episode 12 right in this episode.

So 3 main things we will have to look forward to going into Year 2 will be Ayanokoji and Horikita’s bet, the introduction of a new White Room student, and the whole Ayanokoji and Karuizawa situation. I love how confident Ayanokoji comes off as in this episode. Despite how flat he is, he has a lot of pride in himself and I like that. Throughout this episode we see him work to help other characters grow. He knew that Karuizawa needed to rely on someone to grow which is why he asked her out and at the same time, he also wants to try and understand “love”.

That is all for now!

So yeah, Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Episode 13 was pretty damn awesome. And I would be genuinely surprised if the anime doesn’t go on to adapt Year 2 after this. I feel like they would have ended this season at episode 12 itself if they didn’t plan on continuing onward with Year 2. Let me know what you guys think in the comments, I will take my leave here. See ya!
