My Unique Skill Makes Me OP: Put This on Radar

This anime reeks “generic isekai” doesn’t it? It tells you how generic it is just from the title. Something like that will drive a lot of people off but not me. I am a weirdo who can find fun in the most generic of animes. I loved Reincarnated as a Sword for example, despite the bad review I gave it and the 100 other flaws it had. Pretty sure My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 will occupy a similar place.
So welcome back to another episode of “Put This on Your Radar” a series where we highlight some of the upcoming anime. Of course, you may not like them but, I think the anime that make it here at least deserve a chance. And you know, I think this anime will be entertaining so… Well, today we are talking about My Unique Skill Makes me OP. So let’s get started!
What do we know about My Unique Skill Makes me OP anime?
Well, the anime was announced quite a while ago. I did an article on it too back when it was announced. The anime is based on the LN of the same name by Sabuchi and Miki Nazuna. It will be made by Maho Film. Maho Film previously worked on Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko and Akuyaku Reijou Nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita before. Both of which are surprisingly good.
The anime will project will be led by Yanase Yuji. Once again, he worked on Kami-tachi ni. My Unique Skill Makes Me OP is set to air in the Summer of 2023. Kaito Ishikawa and Rin Kusumi will be starring as the main duo of the anime. A teaser PV recently dropped, which you can check out right here. So now, let’s move on to
Expectations
As I said in the introduction, this will likely be another generic isekai anime. Even the name of this anime is really generic. Does that mean I won’t watch it? No! In fact, I quite look forward to checking out this anime. See how generic it is for myself. My review of this anime will probably be bad again but does that mean I won’t enjoy this? No!
Reviewing and enjoying are 2 different things. Something can have bad reviews and still be enjoyable af; the opposite can also be true because enjoyment is awfully subjective. So yea, I do quite look forward to this anime. It is quite a ways away, the summer season is still 5 months off but I look forward to seeing more updates on this anime. You know we all need some anime that we can just enjoy by putting out brains aside, this is exactly that kind of deal. And I am interested.
Conclusion
Well, that is all for now. Let me know what you think in the comments. Pretty sure that the opinions on this anime will be all over the place so I am curious to hear them. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!!
