Yes, yes, I am aware that the finale for Oshi no Ko Season 2 is next week but ho boy was Season 2 Episode 12 crazy. This one episode left me with so much to think about. Not to mention it brought back the trauma from Season 1. See Oshi no Ko Episode 1 is a masterpiece that I can never, ever watch again. That episode gave me a permanent wound and just when I started to get over it, Season 2 Episode 12 came in and widened it. Yeah, screw this anime, I hate what it has done to me but I love the hell out of it.
Crazy to think that this show comes from the author of Kaguya-sama, which is a wholesome and funny rom-com. How someone can go from writing that to something this messed up is beyond me. Anyway, today we are talking about Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 12. And of course, spoilers ahead. So let’s get started.

About Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 12
The episode starts out simple enough. B-Komachi make their trip to Miyazaki. Akane joins the trip as well, much to Kana’s annoyance. Ruby being obsessed with Akane and calling her “onee-chan” was the sweetest thing ever and Kana’s reaction to that was everything. Cherish the fun moments though, because they don’t last very long. So they get to Miyazaki and meet up with the video production staff. So that leaves Akane and Aqua free to spend time as they wish.
Well, Miyazaki happens to be the place where Aqua was killed in his previous life as Gorou Amamiya and it is also the place where he and Ruby were “reborn”. Things get serious very quickly as Aqua tries to find out what happened with “his” (Gorou’s) corpse after he died and if someone at the hospital even remembers him. It has been 15+ years since Gorou’s death so of course, Aqua tells Akane about Gorou’s life. And that was messed up enough, Aqua didn’t have any happiness in his previous life either. We get all kinds of PTSD-inducing flashbacks to Season 1 as well.

After all that is done, Aqua stays behind in the studio to watch the recording while Akane and Ruby head back to the hotel. A crow takes the keys to their hotel room and following it, they end up in the forest. Well, Ruby was all happy and cheerful, talking about her dreams and love with Akane. It was a heartwarming conversation. But can’t have happiness in Oshi no Ko so the episode ends with Ruby finding Gorou’s corpse in a cave. Fun.
Creepy ahh episode, triggered my PTSD and repressed memories again, smh. Screw this show, I hate this show.
That is all for now
So yeah, I am off to watch something else for now. I really need something funny like KonoSuba or Grand Blue after dealing with Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 12. This was heavy. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya.
