Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 4 Was Rough, Best Episodes!

Ok, Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 4 was wild. I will talk about it more later on, of course, but like it has to be among the best episodes of the anime. That said though, this list will be a little different today lol. Since Wistoria was on a break this week and Roze of the Recapture episode 6 was meh. But good for me. Since I get to highlight a show that I usually wouldn’t put on this list, and moving forward, I want to do my best to ensure more variety on these lists.

It is just that some animes put out bangers every week so it is hard to not include shows like that on the. Like Oshi no Ko. Another one consistently putting out bangers would be Alya. This week’s episode was quite heavy too, it expanded beautifully on last week’s backstory, of course, more on that later. Then I have a surprise entry for this week. Another surprisingly fun episode was TenSura Season 3 Episode 16. And, of course, Tower of God is still here because the plot twists in this episode went hard.

So yeah, it is the 4 week of the Summer 2024 season. We’re a third of the way through this season now. So let’s talk about everything from Tower of God Season 2 Episode 4 to Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 4!

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 16

I know the criticism against Season 3. A lot of people find it boring. And while I do agree that things are a little slow now, the importance of this arc will be clear later on. So please be patient with it. The whole Founder’s Festival has widespread plot implications down the line. But even then, this anime manages to have fun episodes like this from time to time. Hakurou is going the full Vergil route, not paying child support and all lol. Momiji is an awesome addition to the cast.

Benimaru not knowing what to do and just fainting has to be one of the best scenes in the episode. It started all serious but part way through, it just devolved into people talking about their love interests and stuff and it was hilarious. And I love how they showed Diablo with Shuna and Shion as Gobta mentioned Rimuru is popular too.

VTuber Legend Episode 4

This episode was hilarious. It had a School Days reference, a High School DxD reference, and a JoJo reference. All that in a single episode. And I love how everyone just hates Makoto from School Days. Even this anime didn’t hold back on him, rightfully so. The quick High School DxD reference aside, it really caught me off-guard when the “staff” introduced Awayuki as Live-On’s Dio Brando. It came out of nowhere and was followed by some hilarious dialog as well.

But this episode had a good plot twist in it. Other than that, it was the typical humor we’ve come to expect from this series. Just a really fun episode overall. Also, the stream chat was accurate as hell once again, especially during the fitness game sections.

Tower of God Season 2 Episode 4

Ok, this episode was totally not what I expected. But I think the way it went was better than whatever I had in my mind. Because now, we have so much room for character growth and we already saw some of it in this episode. As much as I like Bam/Viole, Wangnan was the star of this episode. His character growth in this episode alone was insane. And blud pulled a Thorfinn on Lurker, it was satisfying. He came off as a total chump not too long ago but this episode did a lot for him.

I really want to see Bam/Viole in a proper fight, like I want to see how much power he has with his new drip. Because even the short action scenes he was in this episode, he stole the show. And he used a very smart tactic to get the parasite out of Yihwa. I loved that scene.

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Episode 4

Okay, this episode was surprisingly heavy. It built on the backstory we got for Alya in the last episode and carried on her character arc from that. So most of this episode was about convincing Kuze to join the Student Council. The President told him that it was fine to not join the council for a grand reason. He became the Student Council President to impress the girl he liked. And I like that, this grounds his character so well. Kuze has so much more personality than a usual romance anime MC too.

And his resourcefulness and ability to deal with people was on full showcase during this episode. And then the episode was rounded off with a beautiful moment between him and Alya. This anime keeps getting better and better every week,

Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 4

Come on, Season 2 Episode 4 has to be one of the best episodes of the series so far. The depiction of PTSD in this episode is heavy. And it is pretty understandable that Aqua still goes through stuff like that, especially considering he was in Ai’s arms when she died. And the trigger for his panic attack was pretty understandable too considering the scene he was playing.

Not to sound like a broken record but I have to give credit to Akane for taking Aqua to Taishi. And then Taishi told her the bare minimum of what happened to Aqua and she was smart enough to connect the dots and realize that he was Ai’s child. She is smart. There is a reason I like her so much and Season 2 keeps on giving more reasons to like her more. Amazing episode and I am certain it triggered the PTSD of some fans too. Some scenes really were haunting.
