Our Top 5 Fineliner Sets – Tools for Anime Art!

We are back with another one of our anime art tool guides! This time we are talking about Fineliner sets! Fineliners are something all artists need in some quantity right? After all, we all need something for outlines and highlights. And fineliners exist exactly for that purpose and they go well with almost all kinds of paints and especially sketch pens.
As always, the products will be based on Amazon. There will be links before the entry and clicking the image will also take you to the purchase page. If you want me to check out other websites, please let me know in the comments. With that said, here are our picks for the top 5 Fineliner sets!
Sakura Pigma Micron Fineliner Pens
price: 10.95$, buy here
I love these pens. They’re suitable for a lot of purposes and can even be used for sketching as well. These ones are budget friendly and can be used for a lot of things, not just outlines. You only get black ink but you get 6 different tip sizes from 0.05mm to 0.8mm. Great pickup for any artist in my opinion.
Tebik Fineliners
price: 8.49$, buy here
This pack is an absolute steal. You get 40 colored fineliners for a little over 8 bucks, if this is not super budget-friendly, I don’t know what is. You only get one thickness, But these ones do come with some stencils as well, so if you want to decorate your journals or projects, these are perfect for you. Multiple uses and colors for more than a fair price, a very good deal overall.
Arteza Micro Line Ink Pens
price: 11.99$, buy here
As you may imagine, Arteza has quickly become one of my favorite brands over time. Their products are pretty amazing and they’re fairly priced. It is no different in this case as well. You get 5-micron pens of varying nib sizes in this set. Yes, they are all black just like Sakura Pigma ones so they’ll mostly be used for sketching and outlining. But you know, 12 bucks is a good price for these pens.
iBayam Fineliner set
price: 8.99$, buy here
MovingΒ slightlyΒ into the premium segment, but not quite cause it is still 9 bucks. I’m calling the premium because the cost per pen is slightly higher than the others. But you know, it is still a fair deal, 18 pens of different colors for 9 bucks isn’t bad. These ones are also 0.38 mm thick so they’re fairly useful and have really good quality.
Shuttle Art Fineliner Pens
price: 25.99$, buy here
And here’s our final entry. Entering the premium segment properly this time. We have this awesome set by Shuttle Art. You get 100 pens for 26 bucks, all of these are 0.4mm in thickness. And being a big set, these come in really good packaging. This is a great pick for you if you are a pro artist.
Conclusion
That is all for now. Those were our picks for the top 5 fineliner sets and if you want to add anything to it, please feel free to comment below. With that said, I will take my leave here. I’ll go take a quick nap, see ya!!
