Our Top 5 Painting Markers!

Continuing on with our art supplies series, here we are at our next stop. For those uninitiated, Painting Markers or acrylic markers more specifically, are a combo between paint and markers. They are markers that use acrylic paint instead of well, marker ink. So they can be used on all kinds of things including canvases too making them quite useful.
So welcome back to another art supply info article, today we are taking a look at Painting Markers. Just like the last article, these are based on Amazon and I will link the purchase page next to the price or you can just click the image to go to it instead. With that said, let’s start!
Artistro Painting Markers Set
price: 12.99$, buy here
So this is a set I’d personally recommend if you are just getting started. This set has 12 markers of medium tip sizes and these 12 include some really good colors. The gold and silver ones look really good. And being acrylic markers, these can be used on wood, ceramic, glass, and all sorts of things. Not to mention, they are pretty budget friendly as well.
Sharpie Metallic Color Markers
price: 12.11$, buy here
These ones are a little more on the costlier side, you know, you are only getting 5 colors for 12$ whereas the previous entry had 12 colors for 13$. But, trust me when I say this, these metallic colors look really nice. They have a really nice luster and these ones are oil based so they look even better. Pretty good for highlighting or finishing.
Cooger Acrylic Paint Pens
price: 26.99$, buy here
These ones look quite similar to the first ones but with more colors. So why did I pick them? Well, these Painting Markers have 3 different tips in one pen! Yes, by default you get a small and medium tip on either side of the pen and you can remove and flip the medium tip to make it a large tip! This saves you the trouble of buying different markers of the same color for varying thicknesses.
Artistro Paint Pens
price: 17.99$, buy here
Another entry from Aristro. So you might be wondering what makes this different from the first entry on the list. Well, just like the first entry, you do get 12 pens in this but, these ones have super fine tips instead of the medium tip of the first entry set. And the best part is that these are climate pledge friendly.
Posca Paint Pens
price: 19.97$, buy here
These ones are just stupidly high-rated. I had to include them. I am not kidding, these markers have over 6000 5-star reviews and a perfect 5-star rating on Amazon. I have no idea how that is even possible and as you may expect, these are among some of the best-selling sets out there. Not a lot else to say here, just some really good markers. Slightly on the pricier side but these do have reversible tips.
Conclusion
Well, that is all for now. These are some of the best Painting Markers I found during my research so let me know what you guys think about them. More art supply guides will be coming soon so keep an eye out for those. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!
