Silent Witch Episode 7 Was Such a Banger

Article at a glance:
- Silent Witch has been on a hot streak since Episode 4, and Episode 7 just kept the momentum going.
- The show nails that perfect mix of comedy, character growth, and actual story progression every single week.
- Episode 7 delivered both strong plot developments and great Monica moments, making it one of the best so far.

This show has really caught me off guard with how good it is. Silent Witch has surprisingly become one of my favorite shows of this season. The anime offers a rare balance of comedy, good character moments, and some really good story elements. It has been a while since I last saw something this well-rounded and enjoyable. Seriously, go watch Silent Witch right now, Episode 7 was such a banger too, man. We have been on a streak of good episodes since like Episode 4 came out a few weeks ago lol.
So, welcome back to another mid-season review. Today, I want to talk about Silent Witch Episode 7! Please note that there will be spoilers ahead, so continue only if you are up to date with the anime. With all that out of the way, let’s get started!

What did I think of Silent Witch Episode 7?
I thought we would have a bit of a break after the whole thing with Lord Ashley, but well, turns out that wasn’t the case. To be fair, we did have 1 episode where nothing major happened, but even then, lol, the story has been so tightly written so far. If an episode doesn’t have an important plot development, it will have some important character moments for Monica. Episode 7 is one of the episodes where we have both. That is why I liked it so much.
Monica has been doing her best to fit in with the Noble society despite her very clear anxiety issues. So she was invited to a tea party by the girl who pushed her off the stairs. That girl ends up poisoning Monica. She probably didn’t intend to, but Monica could’ve actually died as a result of her actions, and let’s just say that the consequences of her actions were more than satisfying. The episode also does a good job of reminding us how scary noble society can be, lol, and well, this isn’t the only reminder of that in this show.

As I said, Silent Witch offers a very good balance of comedy, character moments, and plot moments. Something happens every single episode, be it a character moment or an important plot development. And speaking of, the overall writing so far has been on point. Yeah, I do have my issues with it at times, but overall, the writing is still really good. Of course, I really like the art style as well; it is very cute and fitting for the tone of the show.
That is all for now
