Okay, this announcement came sooner than I expected. But I am not exactly surprised. After doing 3 seasons with 24-25 episodes, it was only a matter of time before Slime Season 4 was official. Well, they didn’t make us wait long and it is already confirmed with the ending of Season 3. But man I sure do hope that they do a better job at adapting Season 4 because there is a lot of cool stuff in the upcoming arcs. More on that later though.
Welcome to another news article, today we are talking about Slime Season 4. Do keep in mind that aside from the announcements, there isn’t much news to report on just yet. I am mainly making this article to talk about the upcoming stuff. So let’s start.
About Slime Season 4 and the new movie
Following the airing of the final episode of Season 3 today (27th September) Season 4 was announced to be under production and a second movie for the series was confirmed as well. We are not sure what the movie will cover just yet but we should get more info on it soon enough. We also got a teaser visual and a teaser trailer but that’s all for now. No release windows for either project have been announced just yet.

My Thoughts
Season 3 overall was decent but 8Bit definitely fumbled the adaptation here and there. Be it the skipped/rushed content or inconsistent. Some of the most badass moments of the series will take place in the upcoming arcs and I really don’t want the anime adaptation to fumble those. The art in Season 3 was really inconsistent with the second half of the season featuring much better animations than the first. 8Bit was also really busy this whole year and they have another high-profile release, Blue Lock starting right next week.
So I hope that they get to take their time with Season 4 and that we get a much more consistent season compared to Season 3. Again, Season 3 wasn’t bad but it could’ve been a lot better. And that’s exactly what I don’t want from Season 4. Because trust me, man, the upcoming stuff with Velgrynd/Rudra, Guy Crimson + other demons, etc. is going to be awesome.
