Solo Leveling Episode 12 Was Perfect! Best Episodes of the Week!

Key Points for Best Episodes of the Week – Winter 2024, Week 13:

  • Despite stumbling in earlier episodes, Ragna Crimson regained its footing with Episode 24, delivering both intense fights and poignant character moments, culminating in a satisfying conclusion to the season.
  • Episode 13 of Classroom of the Elite Season 3 surprises viewers with unexpected twists and sets up intriguing future plotlines, particularly shedding light on Ayanokoji’s end-game goals.
  • The long-awaited confession scene in The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 Episode 13 pays off beautifully, marking significant growth for the characters and leaving fans eager for Season 3.
  • Solo Leveling Episode 12 impresses with iconic moments, notably featuring the much-awaited “Arise” phrase from the webtoon, alongside stellar animation and intense action sequences, earning it a perfect score.

This week was a rather quiet week since we are transitioning between seasons right now. But even then, the last episodes of certain Winter 2024 anime that were due for this week delivered. Between last week and this week, the Winter 2024 season of anime truly had a memorable send-off. And the highlight of this quiet week has to be Solo Leveling Episode 12. We finally got to hear the iconic “Arise” in the anime.

That is not all, however. I had no idea Classroom of the Elite Season 3 was scheduled for 13 episodes, I thought it only had 12. But episode 13 did a fantastic job of setting up future plotlines and events. Ragna Crimson delivered a fitting payoff to the season. And finally, we finally had that scene in The Dangers in My Heart Season 2. Honestly, that might end up being the best romance anime of 2024, we’ll see though.

Lastly, I know that KonoSuba Season 3 Episode 1 was leaked this week but I will not talk about it until its official release on 10th April. So welcome back, it is the 13th and final week of the winter 2024 season so let’s talk about Solo Leveling Episode 12 and all my other favorite anime episodes from this week!

Ragna Crimson Episode 24

Right around episodes 21-22 this anime was kind of stumbling. The animations looked off, there was a whole episode in which Ragna and Kamui’s voices were completely absent for whatever reason. But I am so glad that the anime found its footing back for the last 2 episodes. While I do have my issues with how the plot went in this last arc and with the ending of this season, Episode 24 still managed to capitalize on the strengths of this series.

Everything I like about this series was present in this episode. Be it glorious and over-the-top fight moments or deep character moments, this episode had both. And despite how crazy and broken Ultimatia was, the anime made you feel for her death. Especially the way she died was painful to watch. So yeah, it was a great episode overall.

Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Episode 13

I had no idea this episode even existed. And I would’ve completely missed this if Muse Asia wasn’t airing it on YouTube. As I mentioned in my dedicated article for this episode, episode 12 felt like a better finale for the season as it had a better sense of climax. This episode though, does a better job of hyping up future seasons. And I don’t mind that at all because of the sheer number of plot lines that are set into motion by this episode.

And I have to say, the ending of this episode was one of the most unexpected twists I have seen in a while. This episode is also the first time we explicitly get to see what Ayanokoji is trying to accomplish, We don’t know the exact reason behind it just yet but this is the first time where his end-game goals are made clear. So this episode also serves as a good stepping stone in his arc,

The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 Episode 13

Finally! The entirety of the 2nd season had been building, and building toward this one scene and it finally paid off. Yes, we finally got the confession scene we had been so eagerly waiting for. And it was delivered beautifully. The anime didn’t miss a single beat and made every second of the build-up feel worth it. This episode felt like a natural progression in the character arcs of Yamada and Ichikawa.

I know that Season 2 just ended but I cannot wait to see Season 3 just because I am very curious about how they will grow as characters moving forward as they just took a big step up in this episode. This might just be the best build-up to a confession scene I have seen in a while. The only other one I remember bing this good is Kaguya-sama. And then the scene itself was delivered really well. Yeah, easy 10/10 episode, no questions asked.

Solo Leveling Episode 12

I know it is a relatively quiet week but holy hell, this is the 2nd 10/10 episode from this week. Solo Leveling Episode 12 did a great job of highlighting everything good about the series and it looked cool as hell while doing it. It also gave us one of the most iconic Mahwa phrases “Arise”. Some fans have waited for this moment for years and now we finally get to hear “Arise” in an animation.

Also, I love how Jinwoo survived only because of how the system works in this episode. If he was unlucky, he could’ve died. Small detail, I know but I appreciate that because small things like this add a lot to the story. But the action, the character design, the voice action, etc. were all on point in this episode. And despite being a 24-minute episode, it only felt like 5 minutes long, that is how good this was. Yeah, Solo Leveling Episode 12 rocks, another 10/10 episode from this week, no questions asked.

That is all for now!

Let me know what you guys think in the comments. Those were my favorite episodes from this week, another amazing week, befitting of the consistent quality of the Winter 2024 season. Oh, how will I miss this season so dearly. With that said though, I will take my leave here. See ya!
