Man, this news makes me so happy. The remake already covered a bit more of the story than the original anime did and with Spice and Wolf Remake Season 2 confirmed, I think we will catch up with the manga by the end of it. Well, if Season 2 is also 24 episodes long like Season 1 was, that is. But yeah, we will be getting more Spice and Wolf content soon and I couldn’t be happier. The story only gets better from here on and I am very excited to see it in animation.
We still don’t actually know much about Season 2 yet since this is just the initial announcement. But I had to talk about it because I was excited. So welcome back to another news article and today we are talking about Spice and Wolf Remake Season 2. Let’s get right into it.
About Spice and Wolf Remake Season 2
Season 2 of the Remake was announced as soon as the final episode for Season 1 aired. The official website also announced this and gave us a teaser visual. That’s all we know about Season 2 right now. No release windows or anything like that was announced just yet. But I think we will see Remake Season 2 sometime in the second half of next year. Hopefully, at least. And of course, goes without saying that most of the major staff and cast will likely be returning for Season 2 as well.
My Thoughts
As I said, I am very excited about Remake Season 2. It has been a while since I read the Spice and Wolf manga/LN so it will be a ride for me as well. Passione did an amazing job with the Remake in general. It did everything a good Remake should do and they went above and beyond by bringing back the old cast members. Ami Koshimizu as Holo is too iconic, I can’t even imagine someone else voicing her. The animations and production in general were great.
So yeah, goes without saying that I look forward to seeing what Season 2 cooks up. The Spice and Wolf Light Novel is somehow still ongoing. The original manga adaptation of the LN is 108 chapters long and it concluded in 2017. If I am not mistaken if we do 24-25 episodes for Season 2 as well, we will catch up with the manga adaptation. And then we wait for the LN to have enough content to make an anime adaptation lol. But yeah, I really hope that we do get another long, 24/25-episode season. I am kind of tired of everyone only doing 12 episodes lol.

Sorry, I got a little sidetracked at the end there. But as you can tell, I am very excited about Spice and Wolf Remake Season 2. And it’s not just me, everyone is excited because we never got to see the upcoming parts of the story in animation. The original anime never came this far. With that said, I will take my leave here.
