Welcome to the 17th edition of our weekly series. I canβt call it the 17th week now because well, we had kind of a break on the way. But anyway, we were gone for some time but now we are back with more regular uploads. So here we are with another week of our dear weekly music special.
Once again, I will try my best to balance the new covers and the covers that came out when I was gone. Before we start, remember that the list is in random order since itβs just recommendations. We have some nice covers this week so letβs start.

Akeboshi by Kaji

I donβt think Akeboshi needs an introduction at this point. Akeboshi is the opening theme of Demon Slayer β Mugen Train arc anime. It is originally by one of my favorite artists, LiSA. It is an awesome song and really fits in the anime well. I love Kajiβs covers and he also uploads frequently so I really recommend checking his channel out. He is great with the drums and he is the one who got me into drum covers. You can check out the video here.

Aitakute by SLSMusic

Aitakute is a song that has gained quite some popularity recently. It is not exactly from an anime but, it is still related to one so I am gonna still count it in. Aitakute is from the live-action adaptation of Kaguya-sama. Now, I am not a fan of live-action movies at all but, I really love this song. As always, SLS did an amazing job on the cover. The feel of the songs really comes out in this cover. You can check it out here.

Yuke by Drumstick

As much as I donβt like the later seasons of SAO, I love the Aincrad arc. SAO Progressive promised more of the Aincrad arc and it delivered. Yuke, originally by LiSA is an OST from SAO Progressive and I love this song. LiSAβs voice really sends shivers down your spine at times and this is definitely one of those touching songs. I love Drumstickβs covers; I love how he manages to do his own thing with the songs while keeping the feel of the original. All the while looking really cool. You can check out the video here.

BOY by HalcyonMusic

BOY is the opening theme of the anime Ousama Ranking. Truth be told, I havenβt watched Ousama Ranking and the anime doesnβt interest me as much either but, I will give it a chance some time for sure. I randomly clicked on this video and just loved the opening. I went ahead and listened to the original opening too and man, itβs good. I really like this cover too. You can check it out here.

Tamashi no Refrain by Ruβs Piano
[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”ABeeZee||||||||” text_font_size=”20px” text_letter_spacing=”1px” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]
Tamashi no Refrain is a song from Evangelion: Death and Rebirth. Evangelion series has some really good OSTs and the scenes in which the songs are played, just drive those songs into our hearts. The placement of music in Evangelion is really well done and I suggest you also read the lyrics of some of the songs because some songs are rather grim. I love this song and Ru did an awesome job on the cover. You can check it out here.
