We’re getting a Bloodborne Movie??

Article at a glance:

  • Sony has announced a Bloodborne animated movie, confirming that the franchise isn’t completely forgotten, though a remaster or PC release remains a distant dream for now.
  • The movie is shaping up to be something special, it’s animated, rated R with gore, and Sony is partnering with Jacksepticeye to bring it to life, which turned initial skepticism into genuine excitement.
  • No release date has been confirmed yet, with the announcement coming fresh out of CinemaCon in Las Vegas, but the early details alone are already enough to get fans hyped.

So I know I am a little late covering this news, but what do you mean we’re getting a Bloodborne movie? So Sony HASN’T forgotten about Bloodborne! That’s good news, maybe we can expect a remaster and/or a PC release soon, then? But I guess THAT is too much to ask lol. Truth be told, though, I was very skeptical about the movie when I first heard about it. But then the more details I learned about it, the more the skepticism turned to optimism. This could really be something special if done right.

So yeah, welcome to another news article, and today we are talking about the Bloodborne movie. And trust me, I think you’ll be excited about it as well. So let’s get into it

What do we know about the Bloodborne movie?

So first and foremost, the movie will be animated, so we don’t have to worry about awkward costume designs or bad CGI. On TOP of that, the movie will be rated R, so yes, there will be gore. And then, as an additional bonus, Sony is partnering up with Jacksepticeye, the famous YouTuber, to make it as well. So yeah, far from being skeptical, I am actually looking forward to this movie now lol. This news comes to us from the recent CinemaCon in Las Vegas held on Monday.

No confirmed release dates or anything just yet, of course. Just an initial announcement. You can watch Jack’s video on the same if you want a bit more detail. But that covers all the news for now

Let’s move on to

My Thoughts

As I said, I am actually looking forward to this movie, now that I’ve learned more about it. Bloodborne is a beloved game of mine, so a good animated movie for it could really do wonders. Now, truth be told, I’ve not really played Bloodborne all that much since I am not a console boy, but I absolutely love the world and feel of the game. I would’ve easily had at least a couple of hundred hours in it if it were available on PC lol. Really wish that the movie succeeds and forces Sony to reconsider a remake/PC release.

I know, it is pretty unlikely given how Sony has just recently said that they will be scaling back their Steam releases. But still, I got plenty of hopium to live off of.

That is all for now

But yeah, that wraps up all I had to say. Let me know what you guys think in the comments. I am really excited about this movie now, and hopefully, it will live up to the hype and deliver an insane experience. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!
