What the hell was That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 Episode 19??

At a glance:
- Episode 19 goes completely off the rails, with some massive revelations surrounding Chloe, Leon, and Chronoa that I absolutely did not see coming.
- Hinata’s death hits hard, especially seeing just how much she means to Luminous and Chloe, even if I have a feeling TenSura isn’t done with her just yet.
- Granbell and Yuuki continue to be fantastic villains, and with Leon finally getting pulled deeper into the conflict, I cannot wait to see how this arc wraps up.

So I had been enjoying Slime Season 4 a lot. The recent episodes had been very good, despite the slower start. I really liked Granbell’s descent into villainy and even wrote an article on it. I liked the dynamic they were trying to set up between Rimuru and Leon. But then That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 Episode 19 comes, and everything is up in the air. Don’t wanna go into spoilers just yet, but this has to be one of the most unexpected moments in the show’s entire run, and that’s saying something.
Welcome to another article. Today we will be talking about That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 Episode 19. This episode has a lot of cool stuff, so this article will be spoiler-heavy. You’ve been warned. With that said, though, let’s talk about it.
What just happened in Episode 19?

As it turns out, Leon is Chloe’s older brother, of sorts. That’s fine; that had been hinted at for a while. But Chloe can apparently time travel?? Sure, she was the “special kid” since the beginning. Even when Rimuru found a cure for their magicule issue back in Season 1, she was still different. But a kid capable of legit time travel is insane. And that’s not even the most insane part of this episode. Chronoa has to be the craziest reveal of this episode. So far, we have no idea who or what she, we just know that she sealed Veldora years ago. Very interested in learning why she was locked up and why Luminous is so infatuated with her
I am not as concerned about Hinata’s death. Sure, it was a very cool moment; it was a great character moment to see just how attached Luminous and Chloe are to her. But given the tendency of TenSura, I am sure somehow, some way, they will find a way to bring her back to life. TenSura isn’t really the type of show to kill off a major character. But, as I said, it was amazing as a character moment, because Luminous legit got angry. And I really want to see her go on a “no fucks given” type rampage in the next episode.

Granbell and Yuuki have been amazing as villains. They are just the right amount of charming and hateable. Yuuki is a snake, a damn cockroach; I hate him, but he is such an entertaining villain. Granbell, on the other hand, is a bit more understandable, but he’s still a great villain. I am looking forward to seeing what they do with Leon. After so much build-up, I am excited to see how he gets involved in the overall plot of this arc. The character writing in this arc has been amazing so far. I cannot wait to see how this arc concludes in a few episodes.
Though I suppose my next article on TenSura Season 4 will be the final review for Season 4 Parts 1 and 2. But still, I can’t wait to see how things conclude.
That is all for now
But yeah, Episode 19 was a blast. Let me know what you guys thought of it in the comments. Let me know what you guys think of Season 4 in general so far. I’ve been very happy with Season 4 so far, and I really look forward to the upcoming episode. With that said, though, I will take my leave here. See ya!
