Bleach TYBW Part 3 has been amazing so far. It has been a clear step above the manga regarding narrative consistency and quality. So far, this cour has added more new content to the series than the previous cours did. There have been restructurings and rewrites to smooth out the storytelling, and new fights have been added to flesh out the character dynamics further. Uryu’s character for this arc has been completely rewritten for the better. And that’s not all, recent speculations and leaks suggest that Bleach TYBW Part 3 will have 14 episodes!

But do any of those speculations and leaks hold weight? Will Bleach TYBW Part 3 really have 14 episodes? Well, that is what we are here to discuss today. Now I’ll give you a spoiler warning, as we are discussing leaks, so proceed with caution. And remember, none of this is official info, so take it with a grain of salt. Let’s get started.

Will Bleach TYBW Part 3 Really Have 14 Episodes?

Well, apparently, yes, it will. So basically the logic behind all this speculation is that both of the previous cours aired episodes 12 and 13 back to back on the same day. But early leaks suggest that episode 13 will air on December 28th, while episode 12 will air on December 21st. So if the pattern from the previous two cours holds, that would imply that we are going to get two episodes on December 28th. So we’d get episodes 13 and 14 back to back on December 28th.

Now, Disney Plus accidentally showed the episode count for Part 3 as 14, too. Though this one I cannot confirm as I have not seen it. But plenty of people on Reddit saw it, apparently. Again, take all this info with a grain of salt as it is all just speculation and leaks right now. We will know for sure in a couple of weeks.

My Thoughts

So to be honest, there isn’t much of the arc left to cover when it comes to the manga. So the anime has a lot of room for even more original content. In Part 3, the only things remaining to cover are the Friends Saga, which starts next week, and Lille’s mad assault on the Seireitei. There were previous rumors that the Friends Saga will be expanded upon in the anime, and I am inclined to believe that, given the anime’s pacing, 3 episodes are too much for the remaining content. So it is pretty likely that we will get more new content.

As for Part 4, God knows what’s waiting for us in Part 4 of the anime. As far as the manga is concerned, there are only 3 fights left to be covered now. Urahara, Yoruichi, and Grimmjow vs. Askin, Kenpachi, Byakuya, and Toshiro vs. Gerard, and the final fight against Yhwach. I am pretty sure the anime will also include Uryu vs. Haswalch in this mix. So we have 13-14 episodes just to cover this much content. I think you can already imagine how much new content Part 4 is likely to have because there’s pretty much nothing left in the source material at this point.
