Winter 2024 for Anime Looks fun!
Key points for Anime I look forward to in Winter 2024:
- I’m excited about a range of anime genres, from the emotional depth of “A Sign of Affection” to the thrill of “Mashle” and the unexpected return of “Blue Exorcist.”
- I can’t wait for sequels like “Mashle Season 2” and “Classroom of the Elite Season 3,” and the surprise return of “Blue Exorcist” adds an extra layer of excitement.
- Personally, the comeback of “Blue Exorcist” holds a special place for meβit was one of my first anime experiences, creating a nostalgic connection that adds to the anticipation.
I am here after writing an incredibly depressing article, so let’s just have fun with this one. Winter 2024 looks like a very exciting season for anime. We got quite a few fun sequels, and some new anime as well. One new anime in particular has been on the list of many people for a long time now. You know the one.
So here are 5 anime I am excited for. Keep in mind that this is just a preliminary list and moving into the season, this is sure to change. Also, if you have any recommendations for me, please drop them in the comments. With that said, let’s get started.
A Sign of affection
You know me, I like my romance anime. And this one in particular looks like it’s gonna hit us in the feels. A Sign of Affection is a story about a guy well versed in multiple languages and a girl who cannot speak and is hearing impaired. Just reading that fact alone was enough to pique my interest because this will lead to character dynamics we are not used to seeing usually! No locked-in release date for this one yet.
Mashle Season 2
This one is pretty self-explanatory LOL. More of Mashle, what could go wrong? The first season was entertaining as hell to watch, despite stumbling in a few places, it worked. I am sure Season 2 will be just like that. Now, I wouldn’t mind getting more story content because the world they’re building here is pretty interesting for the most part. I know it’s mostly Harry Potter-inspired but they have their spins on it too. Either way, no fixed release date for this one either.
Blue Exorcist Season 3
This announcement came out of nowhere, didn’t it? And to think that it’s coming out pretty soon in the Winter 2024 season is pretty wild too. I’ve said this before but it’s like the anime I watched when I just started is coming back. Yes, Blue Exorcist was one of my first anime and I am glad to see it make a return after all these years. Once again, no locked-in release date for this but I am very excited about it.
Classroom of the Elite Season 3
It took us years to get a season 2 for this anime and yet after season 2, season 3 is almost here now in the Winter 2024 season. I have no idea what happens in the LN at this point but if I recall correctly, this should be one of the final arcs of the Year 1 part. Whether we get an adaptation for Year 2 or not remains to be seen though. Either way, I’m very excited about this season and you may have guessed, this one doesn’t have a locked-in release date either.
Solo Leveling
As I said, I know there are a lot of people who have been waiting for this anime to arrive for a long time now. And I am one of those. I’ve never read the Manhwa for this but I’ve heard so much about it that I can’t help but be excited about it. I hope that this one lives up to the hype and doesn’t blow up like the Tower of God did. Again, no fixed release date yet but like every other anime on the list, it’s coming out sometime in January 2024.
