Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc, What to Expect?

Key points for What to expect from Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc:

  • The Hashira Training Arc offers an opportunity for character exploration and development, as the main cast trains alongside the strongest Demon Slayers.
  • With minimal action and a transitional role in the manga, adapting this arc for anime presents challenges. Speculation arises on how the anime will handle the lack of action and the cliffhanger ending.
  • Despite potential challenges, fans are eager to see how the anime will approach this arc. Speculation abounds regarding potential changes and enhancements to maintain viewer engagement.

Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc anime will be coming out pretty soon. I don’t know why but instead of April, it will come out on May 12th. A little odd, but in this spring season, a surprising amount of anime is starting in May instead of April for whatever reason. Still, I wanted to talk about this upcoming arc because adapting it into anime will certainly be interesting. And I will get to why in a moment but I am also curious as to where this arc will cut off as it is the penultimate arc of the series.

So welcome to another discussion article. Today I want to talk about Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc and my thoughts on it. Because as I said, adapting it into anime will be quite interesting. There will be no major spoilers for any of the upcoming content. But there will be spoilers from what is already out i.e., till the Swordsmith Village arc. To be fair, there is not much to spoil in this arc anyway but I digress, let’s get started.

Oh and before we move forward, no, I have not watched the To The Hashira Training movie.

What happens in the Hashira Training arc?

I mean… it is right there in the title. This arc is exactly what it says on the tin. It is an arc in which our main cast trains with the Hashiras and gets a feel for what kind of people the strongest Demon Slayers are. The strength of this arc lies in the characters and the different interactions we get to witness as there are little to no fights in this arc. This arc is mostly meant as a transitional arc between the Swordsmith Village arc and the Final arc. Yes, there are some important plot developments but that is about it really, it is just a transitional arc in the manga.

My Thoughts

So the whole reason I am writing this article is because I am curious about what the anime will do with this arc. As I mentioned, there is little to no action in this arc, and Demon Slayer’s anime in particular banks a lot on the awesome action of the series. I wonder if the anime will end up making the training scenes a little more excessive to showcase the abilities of each Hashira better. I am not sure, just that I am curious to see how they adapt this arc.

The second thing is, that this arc ends on kind of a cliffhanger in the manga, But that works fine in the manga because the next chapters would be available right next week. That will feel plain odd in the anime as we will have to wait for at least 6 months to a whole year till the Final arc is adapted.

Summing Up

It may sound like I am complaining and stuff. But I assure you, that is not the case. I do like this arc. I am just very curios as to how the anime will make it work. Because in my opinion, a 1 to 1 adaptation of the manga for this arc in particular wouldn’t exactly work in the anime form. Again, I am not hating, just curious.

So yeah, let me know what you guys think in the comments. It will certainly be interesting to see how the anime deals with this arc. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!
