Dragon Ball Super Moro Arc Anime Announced!

Article at a glance:
- Dragon Ball Super is officially back. Almost a decade after the Tournament of Power, the Moro Arc is finally getting an anime adaptation, and yes, the hype potential is insane.
- The Galactic Patrol arc is in production, confirmed during Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary event. No release date yet, but Toei returning to DBS anime is basically locked in.
- This could be the arc that breaks the internet again. If the Moro Arc gets even close to Broly-level animation, we might be looking at the biggest DBS moment since Ultra Instinct.

Well, this was an unexpected announcement. But I welcome it. Almost 10 years after the climax of the Tournament of Power, we are finally getting an anime adaptation for the Dragon Ball Super Moro Arc. I am VERY happy, Moro Arc is one of the best arcs in DBS. And we haven’t really had “internet-breaking” anime moments in a while. But here we are, with the return of DBS, we are bound to get some genuinely insane hype moments. I know Solo Leveling somewhat came close, but come on, man, the UI debut was just something else.
So yeah, welcome back to another article. And today, we are talking about the Dragon Ball Super Moro Arc anime announcements. Not a lot to cover since this is just the initial announcement, but I just want to yap about it. So let’s get started.

What do we know about the DBS: The Galactic Patrol anime?
Yes, that’s what the anime is called, Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol. Moro Arc is a fan name. But it’s the same thing, of course. Either way, the 40th anniversary event of Dragon Ball just a few hours ago announced that The Galactic Patrol arc anime is in production. Of course, no release window yet since this is just the initial announcement, but I think we can be certain that Toei will be returning to anime DBS, as usual.
The Battle of Gods arc is also getting a “remaster,” which is nice to see. This is the 3rd time they’re adapting Battle of Gods, so hopefully, this time, they will stick closely to the manga. But yeah, that covers all the news for now. So let’s move on to
My Thoughts
Look, I know this is pure copium, but imagine we get the DBS Broly level animations for the Moro arc. Wouldn’t that be something? I really hope that we get to see the Ganolah Arc adaptation after this, too. Because Moro and Granolah arcs are some of the best writing DBS has to offer. I usually don’t praise the writing in DBS, but trust me, these two arcs, along with the Goku Black Arc, really do have decent writing for DBS. So, if you liked the Goku Black Arc, trust me, you will love the Moro and Granolah arcs too.

Either way, I am glad to have Dragon Ball back. I just finished rewatching DBZ and DBS a couple of weeks ago, too lol. Talk about a coincidence. Now there are rumors floating around that the anime will debut in early 2027; while that does seem like a reasonable release schedule, keep in mind that these are just leaks and rumors and may change at any point depending on circumstances. So take them all with a grain of salt.
That is all for now
But yeah, let me know what you guys think in the comments. I will take my leave here. I cannot wait for Dragon Ball to put the whole internet on notice all over again. But yeah, I will go take a nap now. See ya!
