And we are back with another seemingly generic isekai from this season. I don’t know what I was expecting from this anime but the first two episodes were pretty enjoyable. My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 is another generic isekai but it is still somehow pretty enjoyable.
I talked about Am I actually the Strongest last time and I was not impressed with it. But this anime managed to keep me entertained despite the usual generic isekai shenanigans. So I like this one better so far. But we are not here to compare the two so let’s talk about this anime in detail.

What do I think about My Unique Skill Makes Me OP?
What is up with recent anime showcasing terrible working conditions? The first was Zom 100 now this anime too features the protagonist dying from overwork. That said, we don’t get much of a flashback, we’re dropped straight into the isekai and inside a dungeon at that too. Which is pretty nice as it gets the basic rules of the world out of the way quickly. It is the usual isekai stuff, the dungeon has floors with progressively tougher monsters. One interesting thing to note here is that monsters drop food in this world, which I find funny,
So the MC meets this girl, Emily when he wakes up in the dungeon and she tells him about the basic stuff and feeds him. MC realizes that he gets better drops because of his skills so he pays her back by grinding for days and earning enough money to buy her a house. They both decide to live together and it is pretty wholesome stuff.
Aside from the wholesome character interactions aside, there is nothing much to this anime. I am a sucker for good SoL moments, that is the only reason I found enjoyment in this anime. It does have anything else to offer, so far at the very least. So pick this up keeping that in mind. I like that they tried to give a proper personality to the MC instead of keeping him as a cardboard cutout most isekai MCs are but that is about it. The animations, art style, and soundtracks are nothing special either.
