Welcome to the 18th edition of our weekly musical series. A lot of things have happened in the past week and I had been a bit stressed lately. But, you know what cheers me up the most? Some good music. Seriously, music is probably the best drug on the entire planet.

So we are back again with 5 covers that you should definitely check out this week. As always, the list is in random order. We have some good stuff this week too so, let’s get started.

aLIEz by SLSMusic

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”ABeeZee||||||||” text_font_size=”20px” text_letter_spacing=”1px” custom_margin=”11px|||||” hover_enabled=”0″ locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

aLIEz is the 2nd ending theme of Aldnoah.Zero. It is composed by the great Hiroyuki Sawano and originally sung by Mizuki. I may not be a huge fan of Aldnoah. Zero but, I have to admit it has really good music thanks to Hiroyuki Sawano. This ending theme is also one of my favorite pieces from the anime. SLS made a cover of this song all these years later and I still love this song. You can check out the video here.

Stone Ocean by Kaji

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”ABeeZee||||||||” text_font_size=”20px” text_letter_spacing=”1px” custom_margin=”11px|||||” hover_enabled=”0″ locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

I don’t even need to tell you which anime this song belongs to. Stone Ocean is obviously the first opening theme of JoJo Part 6: Stone Ocean. I didn’t like this song that much in the beginning but, man this theme has really grown on me, and now I can’t get it out of my head. This theme is really addictive and Kaji took it to another level with his cover. Kaji really does have some awesome covers. You can check out this video here.

Kawaki wo Ameku by Kitsune Melodies

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”ABeeZee||||||||” text_font_size=”20px” text_letter_spacing=”1px” custom_margin=”11px|||||” hover_enabled=”0″ locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

Kawaki no Ameku is the famous opening theme of the infamous anime, Domestic na Kanojo. It is an opening that has been covered a lot of times but, I still like to listen to it. Kitsune usually does tutorial-style videos for arrangements of others but, when he does do his own covers, they are awesome. For example, take this cover. He tried to make Kawaki wo Ameku noghtcore style and it sounds so good. You can check it out here.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_code _builder_version=”4.14.1″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_code][et_pb_text admin_label=”Heading” _builder_version=”4.14.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”ABeeZee||||||||” text_font_size=”20px” text_letter_spacing=”1px” custom_margin=”11px|||||” hover_enabled=”0″ locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

Yuke by Ru’s piano

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”ABeeZee||||||||” text_font_size=”20px” text_letter_spacing=”1px” custom_margin=”11px|||||” hover_enabled=”0″ locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

Yuke is an OST from the recent Sword Art Online Progressive movie. It is originally by one of my favorites, LiSA. I haven’t watched SAO Progressive yet but, I have a feeling that it will be pretty good. I may also be biased for it a little bit because of my love for the Aincrad arc but, that’s all fine. This song though is really beautiful. Ru made such a beautiful cover of this song too. You can check it out here.

Last Stardust by Animenz

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”ABeeZee||||||||” text_font_size=”20px” text_letter_spacing=”1px” custom_margin=”11px|||||” hover_enabled=”0″ locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

This song is here because I really felt like listening to it. UBW is already my favorite route and this song right here makes it even better. This song is so sad and cuts in so deep… and this cover too! Man Animenz went ham on this cover. A piano can sound really sad depending on the song and this is one such song. Seriously, Animenz really made an amazing cover. You can check it out here.

Conclusion
