Uzumaki Episode 3 was TRAUMATIZING! Best Episodes!

I need to stop using Uzumaki in the title. But I can’t help it. Uzumaki Episode 3 had some of the craziest stuff I have ever laid my eyes on and it is going to haunt me for a long while, The final episode of Uzumaki will drop next week. And even though I have read the manga, I am still scared. Of course, that wasn’t it. We had some banger episodes this week. Bleach TYBW Part 3 continues to surprise me with just how much it has been improving over the manga,

Then Orb: On the Movements of the Earth did a massive rug-pull on all of us viewers. Blue Lock Season 2 had an amazing episode as well. Dandadan dropped another banger episode with crazy animations and funny character moments. And lastly, Blue Box just continues to be wholesome and better than it has any right to be. Yeah, this week was quite packed with great episodes.

So yeah, welcome back to another edition of Best Episode of the Week! Fall 2024 has been pretty crazy so far so let’s talk about everything from Uzumaki Episode 3 to Dandadan Episode 2! Here are my favorite episodes from this week!

Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 2

So the animation quality for this episode wasn’t as good as what we’ve come to expect That said, the presentation of different shots, especially for Otoya and Karasu’s goals looked incredible. The soundtrack was also a banger throughout the episode. It is pretty clear that they are saving the animation budget for the upcoming U20 arc but even then, this episode went pretty hard. Isagi was trying to figure out how he could shine between all the Top 6 members throughout the episode. And the episode ended just when he concluded.

Banger episode overall. This game between Team A and Team B is going to be a lot of fun (I have read the manga). I look forward to it.

Dandadan Episode 2

I liked this episode a lot more than the first episode, Also a quick shout-out to Creepy Nuts for the amazing opening theme. Their music just doesn’t miss. There wasn’t much in terms of plot progression in this episode, Ken and Ayase go to Ayase’s house to get dressed and stuff after the craziness of the previous night, And then they get attacked by an alien. That’s it. But the fight with the alien was a visual spectacle. Even though most of it was in black and white, it looked incredible.

Ken and Ayase continue to be a strong main duo. Their banter is funny as always. Also, I love how Ken’s speech pattern changes when he transforms lol. The humor in this anime has not let me down so far.

Blue Box Episode 3

Man, this anime is wholesome as hell. Haryu is a great addition to the cast. His dynamic with Taiki throughout this episode was so much fun. It all starts with a misunderstanding that there may be a thing between Chinatsu and Haryu. Of course, this does not sit well with Taiki. And Haryu, my man lets Taiki spend days in that misunderstanding even after learning he likes Chinatsu lol. This gave such a fun edge to their interactions. Even though their badminton match was short, it was animated so damn well,

I love how much of a troll Haryu was throughout this episode. He and Taiki make a great pair and I’d love to see more of them in the future.

Orb: On the Movements of the Earth Episode 3

Spoiler warning for this one

This anime trolled us hard. They introduced us to Rafal, an amazing character, He even had a character arc and stuff. But well, turns out all of the first 3 episodes were a “prequel”. Yeah, they just killed off Rafal at the end of this episode. Yeah, we spend 3 whole episodes with this interesting and charismatic character only for it to turn out that he is not the protagonist. And even Rafal’s death was so well done. His last words were so powerful that it even made a hardened torturer cry.

It was a crazy rug-pull. And it was a beautiful episode, Rafal’s dialog in particular was so well-written during this episode. It was heavy, powerful, and meaningful.

Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 2

Okay, the Bleach anime continues to cook some amazing stuff. This fight between Yhwach and Ichigo did happen in the manga but it was much smaller. Ichigo never got to showcase his new power in the manga like he is getting to do in the anime. Ichigo being forced to kill the Soul King also had so much more tension behind it because of the expanded fight before it. Yhwach is also getting to show more of his character in the anime and we merged more lore from Can’t Fear Your Own World into the main story with this episode as well.

Yhwach was like a simple mustache-twirling bad guy in the manga but in the anime, he feels like an actual character, Also, we got a huge lore drop: the Soul King’s true name was revealed. Yeah, the amazing fight between Yhwach and Ichigo would’ve been enough but the lore and better character work add so much to this episode.

Uzumaki Episode 3

The title of this article is not a joke. Uzumaki Episode 3 has really traumatized me. This episode boasted some of the darkest and craziest stuff in this anime so far. And I mean that seriously, the first half of this episode was full of some absolutely insane visuals. And I can promise you that the stuff in this episode is much worse than even your wildest imagination. I know that the anime has cut out a lot of dialog, but Uzumaki has always been more of an “experience” thing. The anime nailed the horror part and I am going to have nightmares about it,

And as crazy as it sounds, Uzumaki gets weirder than talking babies and pregnant women who want to drink blood like mosquitoes…Yeah, the final episode and the ending are about to be insane. Even then, I just can’t get those placenta mushrooms out of my head and ho boy is it gonna creep me out for days to come…
