VTuber Legend is Hilarious

Article at a glance:
- Worries about the anime becoming repetitive without sufficient drama, character progression, or plot development.
- The first two episodes are entertaining with chaotic, funny interactions, especially during drunk streams and interactions with viewers and other VTubers.
- The protagonist, Awayuki, has engaging and hilarious interactions, with decent animations and mostly realistic live-stream chats.

I finally checked out VTuber Legend. Now, I had a general idea that this series would be some nice chaotic fun after reading the premise. But I didn’t think it’d be this chaotic but I love it. There are certain concerns I have about the show after watching the two episodes that have come out so far. But for now, this show is worth every moment. I had a lot of fun watching both episodes so I hope that my concerns don’t come to fruition and that future episodes are just as awesome as these two.
What are these concerns you may ask and that’s what we’re here to talk about. Welcome back to another first impressions article today we are talking about the first two episodes of VTuber Legend! So let’s get started right away!

What do I think of VTuber Legend so far?
So let’s get my concerns out of the way first. I am worried that this show may end up becoming “more of the same” down the line. Shows need a bit of drama, character progression, plot progression, etc. to keep going. I don’t see how they could pull that out in this anime. Obviously, only two episodes have aired so far so it’s unfair of me to complain about something like this. So I won’t make a big issue. This was just a concern that passed through my head while watching the show I thought that it was worth mentioning.
On to more positive stuff, the two episodes currently out are a lot of fun. They’re the best kind of chaotic with a sprinkle of some dirty humor here and there. The show is basically about a VTuber who forgot to turn off her stream, then got drunk and said some incredible stuff. After that, drunk streams became her whole thing and the interactions she has with her viewers and other fellow VTubers in that state are pure gold. Her relationship with the cheap bear she drinks can only be described as pure love and it is funny as hell.

That brings me to character interactions. Every interaction Awayuki has had in the show so far has just been immaculate, they have been pure chaos from her thirsting and simping over other VTubers to saying some outlandish stuff, it has all been gold. The animations are pretty decent and I think the live-stream chats are also quite close to how real live-stream chats feel, minus the trolls, of course.
That is all for now!
I look forward to seeing more of VTuber Legend. As I said, I had a lot of fun watching these two episodes. And I really hope that my concern about future episodes is proven to be dumb and stupid. When I say stuff like that, I want to be proven wrong. As of now, given how much fun I had, I’d easily give this anime an 8/10. Let’s see how things change with future episodes. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!
