- The Season 2 finale was packed with twists and emotional moments, especially for fans who’ve been following the series since Season 1. The stakes have been raised even higher, setting the stage for a gripping Season 3.

I just finished watching the Season 2 finale and boy was it intense. So my reasons for doing this article are two-fold. Of course, I want to cover the Oshi no Ko Season 3 announcement but I also wanted to talk about the Season 2 finale. I don’t think anyone who watched the Season 2 finale is surprised by this announcement. Because the story is really starting to pick up. So at this point, it would be weird if they didn’t do a Season 3.
I already planned on doing an article on the Season 2 finale but the Season 3 announcement just makes it easier to talk about. So yeah, welcome to another article today, we will be going over the Oshi no Ko Season 3 announcements and discuss the Season 2 finale. There will be spoilers for Season 2 Episode 13 ahead. So continue reading only if you’ve watched it. With all that said, let’s get started.

About Oshi no ko Season 3
Season 3 was pretty much announced right after the Season 2 finale aired. That is to say, it was just announced a few hours ago at the time of writing this. The official website also revealed a teaser visual for Season 3. And we already know this from the last 2 episodes of Season 2 but Miyano Mamoru and Kino Hina are joining the cast as Hikaru Kamiki and Tsukuyomi respectively. You already know who those two are if you watched the last two episodes of Season 2. But yeah, that’s all they announced for now.
Right, it will be spoilers galore from this point on. So let’s move on to
My Thoughts on the Season 2 Finale
Okay, bro, the last two episodes of Season 2 were wild. They brought back so much PTSD from Season 1 in the best ways possible and I love how all that affected the present cast. Ruby’s reaction to finding Gorou’s body mirrored Aqua’s reaction to Ai’s death. We finally got Ruby with those black stars in her eyes, and I didn’t think it was possible but they somehow managed to make Ruby look intimidating.

Hikaru is such an enigma. Even as someone who has read the manga, I can’t say I fully understand him. Of course, he is going to have a much bigger role to play in the upcoming arcs. Aqua and Akane had a moment in the finale and I loved that whole conversation. So let’s see how their relationship progresses. The last two episodes of Season 2 were just one twist after another and it has been fascinating to see how all these recent discoveries have affected the twins.
I really like the fact that the positions of the twins are reversed now. Aqua is the one who is trying to move on to the light while Ruby just fell into the dark with Season 2 Episode 13. Really looking forward to Season 3.
That is all for now!
So yeah, let me know what you guys think in the comments. Oshi no Ko Season 3 is going to be a banger and I look forward to it. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!
