One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 10 – Here We Go Again

Article at a glance:
- Back to One Frame Man: After two decent episodes, Episode 10 crashes straight back into stiff shots, neon filters, and zero motion.
- Wildly inconsistent production: This episode feels like it was made by a completely different team—and not in a good way.
- Manga soul still missing: From Zombieman’s downgrade to lifeless direction, the anime once again fails to capture what makes One Punch Man special.

This is probably the largest number of articles I’ve made on a singular season of a show. But as I said, One Punch Man Season 3 is a content gold mine. I can milk this season even after I am done writing my review on it because I would love to rant about how messed up the production schedule was. But well, One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 10 just dropped, and yeah, we are back to One Frame Man again. We had such a good streak going with episodes 8 and 9, but nah, we just had to go back.
But yeah, welcome to yet another One Punch Man Season 3 article, today, we are talking about Episode 10. OPM Season 3 has basically become a bi-weekly series here. So, might as well continue this till the final episode. Let’s get started,

What did I think of One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 10?
Well, the dreaded neon filters are back. Just when we thought they were gone for good, they make a comeback. And once again, this whole episode is weirdly still, with only the mouths of the characters moving in most scenes. It honestly feels like the previous two episodes were done by a completely different team. Look, I had no hope for this show even when we had 2 decent episodes in a row, but I really feel bad for people who thought that the rest of the episodes for the season would be good.
Secondly, they did my man Zombieman dirty. They showed this grown ass man eating a lollipop after a tough fight. Dude, he pulls out a cigarette in the manga! What is this? The 4Kids era censorship again? Where we can’t show guns and cigarettes anymore? Or were they just too lazy to bother animating the smoke? Like, blood and gore are fine, but cigarettes are where we draw the line? Really, JC staff? This is Zombieman lol, not Child Emperor, they really gave this hard-boiled grown ass man a lollipop, I can’t. WOW.

OH, I KNOW where the missing frames from the episode went! Pig God ate them all, along with the monster! No? Bad joke? Okay, fine. But what else am I supposed to do? The manga is legendary because it is born from the combination of ONE’s amazing shot composition and Murata’s ability to take something and just add details to it and make it FEEL like it’s moving, even in still drawings. I don’t feel either of their talents is being utilized in the anime. There is no artistic expression whatsoever in OPM Season 3, and I just find this sad.
That is all for now
This sucks. Just when people were finally starting to have a little hope in this anime, this is what they do to us. I hope that by the time of the review, we have at least one more decent episode. The Saitama vs. Garou fight will be a banger, guys, don’t worry! Trust me, my dog’s uncle sniffs at JC Staff offices! But with that said, I am off to play Dispatch. My queen, Blazer, awaits. See ya!
