- A Year 3 website launches in February, and fans are eager to meet new first-years and learn more about Ayanokoji’s endgame.

Well, I certainly didn’t expect to be talking about Classroom of the Elite again so soon. Just last week, I did an article going over my thoughts on Classroom of the Elite Year 2 as a whole and I didn’t expect that we’d get an official release date for Year 3 so soon after that, I wouldn’t have done that article last week if I knew this would happen, Either way, here are, the long-awaited Year 3 arc has an official release date and Volume 1 of Year 3 is coming out sooner than I expected, to be honest.
So welcome back to another news article. Today, we are talking about Classroom of the Elite Year 3. Even though there’s not much news to talk about, there are other things I want to talk about, but we will get to those later. Let’s go over the news first.

What do we know about Classroom of the Elite Year 3?
Well, the official Twitter account of CoTE revealed that volume 1 of Year 3 will be dropping on March 24th. Additionally, the official guidebook for Year 2 will be released alongside Year 3 Volume 1 as well. Year 2 concluded with Volume 12.5 about 3 months ago in November 2024. An official website for Year 3 will also be launched in February. But that’s about it. I don’t think there have been any official teasers of the Year 3 plot so far.
So yeah, that covers everything you need to know. Now let’s move on to
My Thoughts
Okay, a lot is riding on Year 3. Shogo Kinugasa made some questionable moves towards the end of Year 2. And while I enjoyed Year 2 as a whole, I definitely had some issues with it, especially towards the tail end. It will be up to Year 3 now to cover up some of those mistakes from Year 2. Aside from that, I really wish to see more of Ayanokoji’s character growth. We saw a lot of it towards the end of Year 1 but his character arc was somehow absent in Year 2. Ultimately, if Year 3 can be a mixture of Year 1’s character work with Year 2’s intricate plot, it will be peak.

I am also excited about seeing what kind of new first-years we get during Year 3. In Year 2, the new freshmen introduced some iconic characters like Yagami, Amasawa, and Tsubasa. I expect nothing less from Year 3 in this regard. I am very curious to learn more about what Ayanokoji’s end game is and why he made the decisions he did at the end of Year 2. So I look forward to it.
That is all for Now
That’s everything you need to know about Classroom of the Elite Year 3. Let’s see how things go from here. If the previous two years are anything to go by, Year 3 will also probably be 12-15 volumes long in total. Let me know what you guys think in the comments. I will take my leave here. See ya!
