Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings Episode 6 Was Wild!

Article at a glance:

  • Episode 6 highlights, including Yuki’s teasing and significant plot developments, making the rom-com entertaining and layered.
  • Kuze is a well-rounded male protagonist with meaningful interactions, while Alya’s and Kuze’s complementary personalities add richness to the story.
  • Doga Kobo excels with top-notch animation, diverse ending themes, and overall high production value, making this anime stand out.

This anime along with Oshi no Ko and Wistoria is probably my favorite anime from this season. It is consistently entertaining while providing meaningful character moments and some good development. And unlike most romance animes, this anime actually puts an effort into the male MC’s character as well. Kuze is well-written and charming in his own way, Episode 6 of Alya Sometimes Hides her Feelings in Russian just came out and I wanted to talk about it a little.

And yeah, it is time for another mid-season review. Today we will be talking about Alya Sometimes Hides her Feelings in Russian, Episode 6 to be more particular. And I’ll elaborate on why episode 6 in particular in just a bit. So let’s get started right away.

What did I think of Alya Sometimes Hides her Feelings in Russian Episode 6?

There were multiple reasons to like this episode but the biggest one for me has to be Alya unconsciously admitting her feelings in front of Yuki lol. Yuki is a demon. We all knew she was doing stuff like that just to tease Alya. And I love her character so much for stuff like this. Yuki is the ultimate troll and her interactions with Kuze, are always hilarious. Other than that, episode 6 also had a bunch of important plot developments that will likely set the course of the upcoming episodes.

That is what I like about this anime. You can just watch it as a simple rom-com and you will find more than enough to enjoy just that aspect of the show. But there is so much more here than just a romance. Putting the plot aside, Kuze as MC is well-written. His dynamics with all other characters from Alya to Masha and especially Yuki are fun to watch. He is funny, he is capable but he is not without flaws, and that makes him interesting. The same goes for Alya, she is a genius but she is very lacking in social skills, unlike Kuze.

Combine this with their backstory and Alya and Kuze complement each other so well. Both of them have already gotten a bit of character development so I am curious to see how much more we get in this season. As for the other things, Doga Kobo has been doing a fantastic job with the production. The animations are amazing, the opening theme is good and they’ve been doing different ending themes for each episode with different animations to go along with it, which is just the cherry on the top. And they’re picking from popular songs like Kawaikute Gomen.

That is all for now!

See Kadokawa? These are the kind of shows Doga Kobo should be working on, not that generic harem by Rent-a-Girlfriend’s author. With that said, I will take my leave here. Let me know what you guys think in the comments. I will be off to play some more Elden Ring. See ya!
