Wistoria Season 2 Episode 4 was Absolute CINEMA!

Article at a glance
- Season 2 has been a non-stop adrenaline rush, packing so much development into the first four episodes that Episode 4 honestly felt like a high-stakes series finale.
- After reaching his lowest point following Rosti’s death, Will finally unlocks a unique magic called “Wis,” leading to arguably the most visually stunning fight in the entire series.
- Between Elfaria’s secret support from the palace and the top-tier animation quality, these episodes have cemented Wistoria as a must-watch for action fans this season.

Wistoria Season 2 has just been spoiling us with nonstop high-octane action back to back. Season 1 had very strong pacing as well, but holy shit, SO MUCH happened in Season 2 that it feels like an entire season passed in just the first 4 episodes. Wistoria Season 2 Episode 4 would’ve been kinda perfect even as a series finale, but it’s just a 1 episode in the middle of a season, somehow lol. I have no idea where this series will go from this point on, but man, am I excited to see more of this.
So yeah, welcome back to another article on Wistoria Season 2, and today, I want to glaze Episode 4 lol. Of course, spoilers ahead. There is some legit, really cool stuff here that you should check out for yourself. With that said, though, let’s get right into it.
What did I think of Wistoria Season 2 Episode 4?

Up until Episode 3, things were looking BAD for Will. Rosti died trying to help Will, then Workner and his dragon got boomed, and it was difficult seeing just how much all that affected Will. He legit started hating himself for not being strong enough, for not being able to use magic. But well, when it seemed like everything was over, Finn came to Will and told him that there’s only 1 magic Will can control.
While we don’t know much about what the new magic entails, we know it is called Wis, and it’s a different element from all other magic. And then, we get, hands down, THE best fight in the series. Will basically gets a Super Saiyan boost and starts laying the monsters out. At some point, Will’s sword breaks, but Elfaria drops a spell for him from the Magia Vander palace, which he infuses in his sword. And things just GO WILD from that point on. Since Will KNOWS how Elfaria’s magic works, he uses it to its full potential.

Yes, I won’t pretend that the plot is the deepest thing ever, but these 4 episode were filled with great character moments for Will. There were also other small things I appreciated. Like how Elfaria was ready to run the fade with Aaron to go save Will if Finn didn’t help him. And of course, the production has been absolute top tier. I am damn sure that the next few episodes are going to be plot-heavy. So we’ll have to wait and see where things go from here because this was one HELL of a 4-episode journey.
That is all for now
But yeah, let me know what you guys think in the comments. I have been really happy with Wistoria Season 2 so far. Really curious to see what they do with the remaining 8-9 episodes. But I am sure we will be talking about this anime again soon enough. With that said, though, I will take my leave here. See ya!
