Dandadan Season 2 Episode 6 was Hilarious

Okay, bro, this is probably the most random yet unhinged episode of Dandadan I have seen so far. And that’s saying something, okay? This is the same series where some alien family uses a giant ass spaceship to travel just a few blocks. I am enjoying Season 2 way more than Season 1. Sure, I have all the same complaints as Season 1; none of those issues have been fixed, but Season 2 is way more enjoyable. And believe me, Dandadan Season 2 Episode 6 is the perfect example of what I mean.

So yeah, welcome back to another mid-season review, and today we are talking about Dandadan Season 2 Episode 6. And yeah, spoilers for Season 2 Episode 6 ahead. Only continue if you are caught up with the anime. With that said, let’s get started.

What did I think of Dandadan Season 2 Episode 6?

So exorcising Evil Eye has been a top priority for our gang as… well, Jiji literally can’t go near cold water without risking transformation. He transformed from one drop of soy sauce, and Evil Eye ended up destroying Seiko’s house in an instant lol. He was transformed back to Jiji thanks to Momo’s quick thinking, but, of course, the danger is still present. So Seiko gets a damn rock band to help with Evil Eye’s exorcism LMAO. What follows is one of the most banger performances I have heard in anime. And it was animated to absolute perfection by Science SARU.

We just had half of an episode dedicated to a damn concert. Normally, I’d complain about stuff like this. But here, somehow, it makes perfect sense in the world. Like yeah, of course, Seiko would call the most banger rock band to perform a damn exorcism lol. And why the hell did Science SARU animate it so well XD. I loved that whole sequence. But since this is Dandadan, we had a bit of seriousness sprinkled between all that. Jiji doesn’t want to exorcise Evil Eye because he understands why Evil Eye is cursed.

This does bring me to my contrivance problems. Because I know exactly what’s going to happen after this. And that does bum me out a little. But well, guess what? Momo started a job, and her two friends basically dragged Okarun to see her new workplace. And she works at a maid cafe of all things now LMAO. And the whole sequence of the girls dragging Okarun to the cafe was so damn funny. All in all, this episode was pure chaos, and I enjoyed it a lot.
