One Punch Man Season 3 Might Get a Part 2…

Article at a glance:
- Everything here is leaks and speculation, nothing is official, but the mere idea of One Punch Man Season 3 getting a Part 2 already has me relapsing into copium withdrawal.
- Season 3 Part 2 rumors are floating around, backed by a reputed leaker and Netflix listings, and instead of excitement, all it does is trigger dread.
- What should be good news feels like a bad omen, because with Season 3’s production already struggling, the thought of more episodes raises serious concerns about quality and burnout.

Full disclosure, everything I yap about in this article is based on leaks and speculation. None of this is confirmed or from an official source. So take everything you see here with a grain of salt. Surely, they’ve been saving the whole budget of One Punch Man Season 3 for Part 2, right guys? Yeah, no, I ran out of copium 6 episodes ago. Now seeing something like Season 3 might get a Part 2 just triggers a PTSD response in me. Which is funny because we are not even “post trauma” yet, there’s still an episode or two left in OPM Season 3.
Between this and my upcoming review, what a week to be a One Punch Mana fan. Usually, it’s a good thing whenever an anime I like has an upcoming Part 2. But in terms of One Punch Man Season 3, Part 2 only fills me with dread. But yeah, let’s get into it.

The One Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 Rumors
All this started with a bunch of speculation, you know, a few gusts of wind here and there. Everyone thought to themself “Surely, it couldn’t be, right? There is no way this is real, right?” but then, a reputed leaker tweeted it out. Coming from @d0nut2x on Twitter, apparently Part 2 or Season 4 is indeed real and that it won’t be out “for a while.” And then people found out that Netflix has also started listing current episodes under “One Punch Man Season 3 Part 1.” We will figure out how true these things end up being tomorrow once Episode 12 drops.
Either way, this is absolutely insane. Let’s move on to
My Thoughts
Who thought this was a good idea is what I want to understand. Your production team was barely able to even finish Season 3 in time, and now you want them to possibly return to make a Part or Season 4 or whatever. What is Bandai thinking? They had 6 whole years to make OPM Season 3; they could’ve taken even longer if they wanted to. And yet, production didn’t begin in earnest till 2025! JC Staff really was in a no-win scenario here, and they still want to push further with more episodes?
I don’t even want to imagine how bad the quality of those episodes will be if the production pipeline doesn’t improve dramatically. I can’t even say “I don’t care anymore” and move on because this is One Punch Man! A manga that once boasted THE BEST anime adaptation of ALL TIME.
That is all for now
Yeah, sorry, I am about to blow a gasket over here. I have no idea how I am going to finish that review tomorrow, but I will. And it is going to be filled with a lot of steam as well. Let me know what you guys think in the comments. I will take my leave here. I really need some sleep. See ya.
