Feels good to start the week with a bit of good news, man. Last week I was crashing out lol, and while that was fun in its own right, I like being at peace much better. But all that aside, I actually forgot that Spy x Family Season 3 is coming out this year. Yeah, somehow I forgot that a major anime like this is just a few months away. Well, but still, these new updates are a nice excuse to talk about this show, and I can picture all the new Anya memes flooding the internet after every episode lol.
So yeah, welcome back to another news article, and yep, we are starting with positive news this week as we catch up with all the latest updates of Spy x Family Season 3. So let’s get started.
What do we know about Spy x Family Season 3?
As I said, the anime is just a few months away; more specifically, it is scheduled for an October 2025 release. No Locked-in release date yet, but we should get that fairly soon as well. Aside from that, they recently released the first promo for Season 3, and it was just as wild as you’d expect. We have a new director, Yukiko Imai. They will be directing the anime at WIT Studio and CloverWorks. And of course, all of our beloved cast members will be returning to voice their respective characters.

My Thoughts
You know, this is an anime I watch with my mother. And I’ll be honest, she is more excited than I am for this. She was the one who reminded me that this new promo dropped lol. It makes me happy seeing her this excited about something. So you know that alone makes Spy x Family a bit special for me. And to be honest, it is nice seeing a “slice-of-life” anime blow up like this. Is it perfect? No, not by any means, but it is a lot of fun to watch and perfect for family times.
That said, though, given the heartfelt arc for Yor we had last season on the cruise ship, I have high expectations from Season 3. I hope they have something else like that in store for us. And I’d like to see some more character development on Anya’s side because let’s be honest, it is always fun watching her do some stupid shit and still help her parents somehow lol.
