Man, do you guys ever feel like things are going “too smoothly” when you watch a show or a movie? That is what Mushoku Tensei II Part 2 is making me feel like T_T. I like Rudy and despite his flaws, he deserves a good life. But the world he lives in is cruel, and I am just worried about him. He had finally started to recover from his trauma, he has a good life now but for some reason, I can’t help but be worried.

Well, that is not what we are here to talk about though. I will leave those worries for the future like I always do. So welcome back to another first impressions article today we are talking about Mushoku Tensei II Part 2. Funnily enough, I forgot that this was coming out last week. Only to realize it after finishing all of last week’s articles. But hey, better late than never so here we are. Let’s get into it.

What do I think of Mushoku Tensei II Part 2 so far?

Things pick up immediately after Part 1. Rudy and Sylphy have decided to marry but well, but Rudy doesn’t know the marriage customs of this world. Turns out that they are pretty simple. You need a house to live in and then you just throw a marriage reception party acknowledging that you are married and you will live in the said house. Then you can get blessed by a priest.

The first episode followed Rudy, Zanoba, and Cliff as they looked for a house. They found a big one for a cheap price but, of course, there was a catch. The house was haunted the previous owner was killed. So the first episode pretty much involves them clearing the house. Turns out that it wasn’t a ghost and that the original owner of the house was working on marionettes, the marionette simply thought of them as intruders, which is why it attacked.

I am sure that the marionette they found will have a payoff later. The first episode was alright but the second episode where things got interesting. I won’t spoil it since it just came out but the second episode was very character-driven and despite only being about the reception, it was a lot of fun and full of unexpected twists. I enjoyed the 2nd episode a lot more.

That is all for now!

So yeah, Mushoku Tensei II Part 2 is off to an amazing start. My worries aside, the first two episodes have been heartwarming and I enjoyed them a lot. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!
