Komi-san Season 2: Everything you Need to Know
A fresh new PV for Komi-san season 2 was just revealed yesterday. We were talking about spring 2022 anime here anyway, so what better time than now to talk about Komi-san. Of course, the second season of Komi-san is right around the corner as well. I know a lot of people have been waiting for this including me.
Welcome back to another spring 2022 news coverage. So far, we have talked about Shield Hero, Bubble, and Kaguya-sama. If you are interested in those go ahead and check them out. This week though, we are talking about Komi-san; I know a lot of you have been waiting for this so here we go.
What do we know about Komi-san season 2?
Komi-san Can’t Communicate is a rom-com manga originally by Oda Tomohito, its first season of anime came out in fall 2021. Now it is finally time for the second season or cour of this awesome series. Kom-san Season 2 will premiere on 7th April 2022. A fresh new trailer/PV of Komi-san season 2 just came out today, you can check it out here.
The trailer looks great and Komi-san is beautiful as always. Aside from that, all major staff and cast members are retaining their positions and there are a few new additions to the cast as well. The voice actress Miku Itou will perform the opening theme: “Ao 100-iro” and the band Fantastic Youth will perform the ending theme: “Koshaberi Biyori”. The trailer above features both of these songs.
There is no official announcement but I am going to assume this will be another 12 episode/1 cour season. With that said though, let’s move on to
Expectations
So np copium this time around because I fail to see how you can mess up something like Komi-san. I expect the same level of craziness as the first season. The first season was hilarious as hell so I’d love if they continue with that sense of humor. I know there is going to be a lot of character development once again and I look forward to that too. Also, there are going to be more scenes where I’m gonna feel called out so I am prepared for those as well.
One underrated aspect of Komi-san though, the author is meme-ster when it comes to character names. Like a lot of the names a downright funny so I hope he gives us more stuff like that. I have no complaints from season 1 so I’m just excited to get some more of stuff I love. I don’t see any way of this anime blowing in any way so it is a pretty safe anime to have high expectations of.
